   I haven't used the hotel but the food here is delicious. Best roast dinner I have had in Norfolk and it isn't too close to the tourist traps on the coast. We have always booked but there have always been some free tables. The desserts are delicious although we don't often have space for it! Reasonable pricing as well for the food quality. They also serve Hawkstone.

   Has Sunday lunch here today. Was delicious, and the service from Luke was particularly great. He really is a credit to this place. Smiley and friendly, yet polite. Made our custom feel valued. Lovely ambience, the place was full. Will be back.

   Absolute gem of a place. We saw the marvellous show in Thursford and needed to stay the night because of travel distances. Very welcoming staff and excellent service. Room was clean and well equipped. Meals were also excellent. Well done the chef. Also an excellent choice of beer.

   Visited for my mums 95th birthday very accommodating with menu for my Mum. Food was piping hot and great portion sizes. Nice atmosphere and Wed night specials as well as the main menu. Great selection also. Will definitely return Empty plates all round.

   I went for my birthday yesterday and can I say the food and atmosphere was impeccable! The restaurant has a lovely warm feel with all the different aromas from every cuisine filling it. I ordered the mixed grill with the surf and turf option which was extra prawns cooked in a gorgeous garlic buttery sauce which complimented all of the meats. The chips were very impressive. Being equally fluffy and crispy. All the meats were cooked to perfection and will be returning soon!! Many thanks Sean

   Third or fourth time eating here now, and feel it is finally time to leave a review… and a glowing one at that! They could not have improved on a single thing for us. Truly excellent food, served by happy friendly, helpful staff who accommodated our ever my need (three with strict dietary requirements include one allergy). Happy to adjust dishes to suit and none of the usual “that’s just how it comes” that we get at so many places. This will now be our one and only place to eat when visiting family in this area. Well done “team Parson Woodforde”!!

   Came here for our annual Xmas meal. I have been dealing with Alison for a few months to keep her informed of numbers. My partner and I have been before and food was great. Once again today the food was stunning . They couldn’t do anything better. From the moment you walk through the door. Warm , cosy , clean pub with character. Staff that are smiley and want to be there. Food amazing. Tasty , hot , fresh and so reasonably priced. Staff read back the order too so no mistakes. Nothing too much trouble and no issue paying the bill separate. Best place for Miles. Thank you Alison . Deb and Jay Paling x

   We decided to come because of the other reviews and this place exceeded our expectations. Aspalls on tap, perfect. We had mussels for starters and they were delicious. Our main courses were amazing. The room was perfect and so comfortable. We will definitely be back.

   Wow! What a delicious meal! Four of us booked a table and were blown away at the fabulous menu and meal that followed. I had the venison which was succulent, tasty and very nicely presented. All four of us enjoyed our main courses and desserts that followed. We will be eating here again!

   Was up on business and stayed just one Friday night, very warm welcome from Alison and her staff, even though it was busy, Alison personally showed me around, the room was spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant was superb. Would definitely stay there again if I'm in the area, and to cap it off, the included full English breakfast was excellent, kept me going all day. Excellent value for money
