   We went for a meal this evening, me and my wife and 4 children. Our 8 year old has ASD and decided his dinner wasn't what he thought it was and was getting upset, the next thing the owners brought out an alternative for him out of the goodness of their heart. Anywhere that puts that much thought into a child who struggles and goes above and beyond gets my vote. It's the first time we have gone out as a family and not felt stressed out or conscious. Lovely owners and we will be back for sure Thank you again

   The chicken wings may have been slow cooked for 3 hours but are microwaved before coming out, this also applies to the rice!

   Was welcomed by a friendly helpful waitress which was the only positive experience. I ordered the full rack of ribs and my wife chicken fajitas( after 15 minutes of waiting she was told they had no peppers to stuff). The ribs were full of fat (see picture). It advertised homemade coleslaw but tasted like cheap vinegary coleslaw bought from a supermarket. When I asked she said it was homemade so was hard to make it taste so cheap. The guacamole also tasted like a cheap version from the supermarket. We explained to the waitress our complaints. She apologised several times. When payment came a different server came so we assumed there would be another apology and even a reduction. There was nothing. The place was also very cold so we both keep our coats on. Such a shame. Never posted such a negative review. Hope they choose to improve.

   Came here after me, my dad, and my brother couldn’t decide on a place to eat and I’m so glad we did! The waitress was absolutely lovely and so accommodating to us, the food was absolutely incredible, full of flavour. Our waitress was so lovely and offered me an alternative quesadilla as I’m vegetarian, taking time to make sure it was to my liking, and it tasted stunning. She provided high energy/vibes on a cold and rainy night which I couldn’t be more thankful for. The portions were also very large which matched perfectly with the price! All and all I give this place an easy 10/10 if not more and I really can’t wait till I can go again! Highly highly recommend!! :)) *For reference the picture is the veggie quesadilla and the dish behind it is the tacos my dad got :)

   What a wonderful restaurant. We were recommended Montagues through some friends of ours and I am so glad that we went. The food was amazing, I had chicken fajitas and my husband had the jambalaya. Both dishes were freshly cooked and so full of flavour. The staff were just as wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend, We are already planning our next visit :)

   This used to be a favourite of mine but since the change of ownership the quality of the food has dropped off a cliff. Cash only now aswell which is suspect to say the least. Unfortunately in it's current form I will not be visiting this once legendary establishment again.
