Lovely Sunday roast.... The best pub pub roast for miles but what's even better is the service. Love the manager... He was so helpful and accommodating. Wish I'd got his name so I could thank him personally here.... He gets 6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Reservation online was super easy. We had a lovely lunch with amazing food. Our fish was fresh and dessert very indulgent. We've sampled most of the menu recently with various visits. Staff are welcoming and friendly, service is always great. Good range of drinks available, and simple but delicious menu. Proper pub grub! The inerior is tastefully decorated, a lovely garden and a hugely popular teepee for rainy days at the rear. We'll visit again soon.

Fantastic food! I had the sea bass with salad nicoise and it was one of the best I've ever had. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. The pub decor is very cosy with a lovely outdoor section.

This was our first time visiting the Queens Head, me and my mum are moving to the area soon so we thought we'd check out the local pubs. We were so glad to come across this one, not only was it accommodating for our dog, the tipi where we were situated was perfect! Cozy, warm, festive and friendly. A special mention has to go to our waiter Zeke, who was brilliant! Super attentive, ever so helpful, and friendly, when you come across someone like this it makes all the difference! And definitely makes us want to visit again which we will be doing once we move. Thanks Zeke for being so great at your job, we hope there's a Xmas bonus coming your way! And what a great pub, I forgot to mention the food was amazing! I will be recommending this place to everyone.

What a great place! Asked the locals what was the 'best pub' and was directed here. Great drinks selection. Nice interior. Spectacular tiered garden. Well worth a visit !

An excellent dining experience with superlative food but let down by the service. The pub is lovely. Really nicely decorated, feels welcoming and warm but still a sense of modernism. Great for smaller and bigger groups. The food is fantastic. Really really excellent. Had the Sunday lunch - superb. Probably one of the best I’ve had. Everything was done very well. Giving a 4 stars as the service let it down. Service was friendly and good when we had it. Otherwise it was quite inattentive and slightly frustrating. I think they just need more servers. Otherwise, highly recommend

We went here for a Christmas dinner. The pub was warm and snug it was very clean inside but it retains lots of very old traditional feel. Table service was excellent, and the food was outstanding, specially the sprouts (which normally HATE) they were delicious. This is not a cheap pub, a pint of beer 5-6 quid, a large class of wine 12.... The four of us ate and drank well for £50 a head with the cost of living and the quality, not too unreasonable . It was good so good in fact we were tempted to ask how things had been cooked! A remarkable meal.

This pub never ceases to amaze. The prices are actually very good for the value you get. Everything is absolutely incredible quality from the food to the service to the actual building that is so beautiful and quaint. But the star of the show of course has to be the garden that they've converted to a half outdoor half indoor space with the teepees! (when sitting near the windows in the front in the summer they are open and it feels like you're outside! And yet it's so cozy and warm in the winter!) The menu changes frequently so even more of a reason to go as often as possible! You can't be disappointed with this, a must try for sure!
