We ordered 7oz Rump + cream brûlée as set meal, a whole rack of ribs with bbq sauce, dirty burger and a mini dessert + hot drinks. The food was delicious, the whole rack of ribs was a bit dry and I asked for extra sauce. The Dirty Burger was delicious. Slow service, with just 3 staffs running around on a busy lunch day. Friendly and helpful staffs.
Visited today (22/10) in the afternoon. Admittedly it was very quiet due to time of day, but staff were so friendly - the service was top class. Elise was our server and she genuinely made us feel really welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. She knew the menu, and gave service with a smile. We had a rump and a sirloin, the mac and cheese, and the pork belly starter, then a brownie to share. I can’t fault a single bit of the food, cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Elise took the time to ask her customers if they’re celebrating anything - might not seem like much but it made the visit more personal. One family near us, the lad had just passed his driving test (forgive me for overhearing!) and was given a desert as a congratulations. Again, it’s not much but how nice is that! The restaurant was really clean; glasses laid out on the table with not a spot on them, all tables and seating were clean. Bathrooms were also kept incredibly clean, just adding to the 5* review. We don’t live in Bedford but would 100% travel out of our way again to come here. I hope the staff get the recognition they deserve. Thank you!
Came here with my partner to celebrate my birthday the other day and was absolutely blown away - we were served by an absolutely lovely waitress who was quick to clear our table offer us refreshments and perform check backs - food is lovely and the atmosphere was also very classy and relaxing. Would highly recommend especially for the service
Everything was well seasoned and cooked to our taste. The service was kind, and the atmosphere very welcoming. While the higher prices make it more of an occasional treat than a regular spot, the quality certainly justifies the cost — and doesn't take away from the overall experience.
Myself, my partner and 3 teens went here at the weekend The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious as well! Service was great, and it was a very busy night to have gone as well. We used the younger menu for 1 child, and the rest of us had from the normal menu. Decent prices.
I cannot knock the restaurant its self to much. The food was good but a little more pricey then what I would like to pay for the amount you get. Interior is nice, and the staff were friendly. I have given 3 stars because of the amount of food you get is not really a proper meal in my opinion. Also it took 2 hours to get mains which wasn't very good. Overall had a lovely evening, I wouldn't recommend unless you wanted a pricey long wait for meals.
We had a great night and was welcomed with a friendly smile from Maria. Who made us feel welcome. As for the food, I would have given you 4 star the pasta and meatballs was out of taste. And my son didn’t eat it. But Maria with her experience made sure we were looked well and took the pasta bill out. Because of her good well and service you got my 5 start. She is a star
Came here for an early Valentines Treat. Food was amazing, only thing I would of liked with the pork belly was the fat to be slightly crispy. Everything tasted amazing, service was spot on. And drinks were lush. Came to just under £100 for 2 people but definitely worth it as a treat.
Nice midweek meal out. Friendly greeting upon entering and a chatty (in a good way) and knowledgeable serving person. The food is quick,but not so quick that you can’t sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Steaks are perfect. Rare is perfectly rare and the meat is tender and tasty. Clean and tidy, nice decor and a welcoming ambience. We’ll be going back for sure.
