Best Indian in Bedford the only Indian me and my partner will eat from because they do it just how we like it and the staff are friendly
I ordered King Prawn Peshwari from Malabar Indian Takeaway and was extremely disappointed. The dish had a terrible smell that made me feel like vomiting, and the prawns were clearly undercooked. When I called to raise my concern, instead of taking my complaint seriously, they brushed it off saying “prawns are like that” — which felt like a poor excuse to cover up bad quality. Very unprofessional and unsafe. I will not be ordering from here again.
I have ordered from here on a number of occasions and never had a problem with the food or service, however, tonight was a different story! I had items missing from my order, when I contacted the restaurant I was rudely told that I was lying or that the driver must’ve removed items! I asked if they could please send me out the missing items or refund them when again I was told no and to contact Uber eats as it isn’t their problem even though the food is from their restaurant. The food that was received was extremely greasy and salty, which shows there’s been a big error in their kitchens. In future I advise not to be so rude to your customers and accuse them of lying as I will no longer return.
Order two masala dishes chicken and prawn. Both are sweet dishes. As per them masala is sweet dish but on their menu doesn't say that. Ruin my evening.
Food came on time. Me & wife enjoyed our takeaway. Would defo order again.
We have been ordering from Malabar for years now and we are never disappointed. The food is flavoursome, fresh and authentic. The menu is large enough to find something you'll like, but not overwhelming with choice. We always enjoyed every dish (mouth watering just thinking about the food) and they never get the order wrong either when ordering takeaway We are happy to recommend this place to anyone who loves this type of food.
We wanted a quick take out and chose here as we had previously really enjoyed a meal from here. We were not disappointed, I chose vegetable biryani, lots of food,good value for money, spicy but not overpowering. We also ordered a vindaloo and a medium lamb dish, naan bread, everything was scrumptious. Would recommend. Staff were polite, professional and friendly. Cannot fault the service, food or the team.
This meat isnt marinated. It was last second coated then served. I've had microwave meals with more taste. Maybe I've got covid.
Great quality, great value, delivery is usually prompt and the drivers are polite and friendly. The chicken tikka madras is my personal favourite curry, heat is just right and it's very flavourful.
