I've included some pictures, but there was more food on both plates. “I first went here in 1977. And it became my go to place. Keema peas Vindaloo hot, Tarka daal, 2 chapattis and one rice. All I had to do was call and they wouldn't even wait for the order and just say 15 minutes and throw in half a pint of lager if I had to wait!! Of course I introduced a lot of people to eat here. Some still do. I live in California now....but this is still my must visit restaurant if I am in Bedford. Good food and good memories.”

“Got a takeout while staying at centre parcs; we phoned at 5.30pm for a takeout collection at 6pm for 16 people… they were super friendly and managed our order brilliantly. Food was great too and they threw in a good discount and some freebies like chillies, wine and beer.”

“Ordered through just eat, been over an hour and order is still in preparing your order status. Will update the review if the food ever arrives...!! Edit: The food arrived, ordered a chicken and beef biriyani, very good taste less masala, kerala style, liked it. But delivery took 2.5 hrs which negates everything else. Please sort out the prep time and delivery, without which everything else won't matter.”

“Really lovely place, obviously very popular so I would recommend booking. We visited on a Saturday evening and enjoyed items from the amazing Vegan menu. They were presented beautifully, and tasted wonderful. The only very slight draw backs were that because it was busy, there was a queue for the toilet a couple of times. Also, the more intimate style of the restaurant does mean it can feel a little loud. We cannot wait to go back!”

“We've tried many Indian takeaways and this us by far the best we've found and so lucky to have it local to our new home. Order regularly, always really tasty, the meat is always good quality too. Sometimes delivery can take a long time but that's a sign they are popular. When I've needed to call them they have been very polite and great customer service.”

“Amazing food! I ordered a mixed grill and chicken tikka with pilau rice. I asked what was in the mixed grill and was told they have sheesh. I informed the person on the phone I wasn’t a fan of sheesh so they offered and gave me extra chicken instead of the sheesh. How kind I really appreciate it. The best mixed grill I’ve had. Absolutely amazing and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again! They also delivered very quickly and food was a 10/10. Thank you and we’ll be back.”

“I had take away. I had the fried wings, oxtail, chicken stew, and fish with peas and rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. Lovely spices but not so hot you couldn't taste it. The service was friendly and quick. I would definitely be going back and highly recommend.”

The driver was super friendly and very smart (which is rare) the food was so hot we had to let ot cool before we could eat it, then when we could, it was so flavourful and exactly as it was described.
