Came here for the first time for tapas Tuesday and left satisfied. The pork belly bao bun was great as was the red pepper queso! Easy to order through the app.
Another enjoyable visit to a Loungers. This was definitely in my Top 10 out of over 50 Lounges visited. I had a Cruzcampo and a small tapas (LFC Chipotle) for £10.25. Very tasty food with subtle spices, and a good quality Seville beer. I have within the last 2 days acquired a Loungers passport, and would be more than happy to revisit this one to gain a sticker for the book. Keep up the good work!
Called in on a Saturday afternoon around 14:30 with my wife and daughter after having our eyes tested down the road. We walked in without a reservation and there was no issues with seating us. The place was bustling with only a few empty tables. The waitress cleaned a table and brought us menus straight away. The service was impeccable throughout our entire time. My wife and daughter both had the Birria Tacos while I had the Brisket Birria Smash Burger, we ordered a side of cheesy ciabatta and onion rings to share also. My daughter has been wanting to try Birria Tacos for a long time and when she saw they were on the menu she was delighted. Furthermore, the fact that she said the food was so good made it even more satisfying. She instantly rated her meal a 5⭐️. My wife agreed and added that it was more filling than it looked. I have to say the spicy Birria gravy that accompanied the burger was extremely flavoursome while not being extremely spicy, it was the perfect blend. While the accompanying fries were good, they weren’t the best I have had, nor was the cheesy ciabatta, however the quality of the burger was amazing and the fusion of flavours made me want more. I have to rate the burger in the top three burgers I have ever tried. As with my wife I found my meal filling and didn’t require a dessert, although I did think the desserts were a little more pricey than the mains. I was impressed with the decor which I would describe as eclectic and more so with the fact that dogs are welcome within the pub, and there was a Children’s Corner with games and colourings for the children. I would recommend paying a visit as the menu was extensive and I feel would cater for any taste!!!
Even though I've lived in Bridgend for 32 years, I don't venture into the town that often. This was my first time visiting CL and wasn't disappointed by the food or service. It was a Saturday late morning and it was obvious that the place is very popular.
We really enjoyed our cooked breakfasts here. Staff were chatty, really friendly and helpful, great atmosphere, unusual decor. Easy car parking nearby. Felt like an art gallery in a pub. I'd definitely return.

Beyond Sensational.. I travel a lot in the UK and Loungers Sites have become a go to destination for evening dining.. Tonight.. 100% Shout out to the team.. Everything and I mean everything was spot on.. Beyond Cheese Burger (with halloumi).. Sensational.. Service at the bar Awesome.. Venue decoration wonderful and atmosphere.. (THIS MIGHT BE THE COCKTAILS SPEAKING).. Atmosphere brilliant Thanks to all creating the vibe in this venue front of house and back of house..
Nice cosy atmosphere, felt welcomed nice seating, food was amazing. They're online ordering system has been the best so far when it comes to ordering food as there's things that I do not like and could easily deselect them. Food arrived accurate to description and was wonderfully presented. Will be back again to enjoy another wonderful meal. Congrats to the servers that made my partner cocktails and myself for the Freshly squeezed orange juice. Thank you to the chef's who are hard at work on a busy Friday night.
Honestly one of the nicest places I’ve been to in a while. Amazing selection of vegan food. I got the vegan moving mountains hot dog and did not disappoint! Very good portion sizes for the prices. Lovely staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.
