Great visit for their Festive Fayre menu. Very stylish Christmas decorations and cosy warm fires. Perfect little pub and very well presented team.

Great village pub with cosy open fires. Seems to be a little short of staff these days but they keep smiling. The manager Mark is always there to welcome you or to say goodbye when you leave even when he's having a beer.

We always have a lovely meal. We have been for several celebration meals with the whole family. The service is great, even if you just drop in for a drink. Being dog friendly is also a very good thing for us. Looking forward to going soon to enjoy the real fire.

Was able to be seated without a reservation. A lovely cozy atmosphere. There was a slight problem with my main but this was quickly resolved and a deduction was automatically applied to the bill. Tasty food. Very reasonably priced and excellent customer service. Update. Visited again today and had another positive experience. We were well looked after. The food was delicious and the environment comfortable. We'll be returning.

What a fantastic pub, lots of character, fine ales, great food and a friendly service, complete with open fires for a really traditional feel. For starters we had 2 sharers 1. Camembert Sharer Baked Camembert studded with rosemary, served with crispy chicken strips, garlic ciabatta and Milano salami. With chili jam and basil pesto. Not sure the chicken strips worked with it. The 2nd was the Nachos Sharer, Home-fried nachos with mozzarella, Cheddar and nacho cheese sauce served with salsa, Jalapeños and soured cream. Which contained all the things a good nacho should include. Mains we had the Lamb Shank slow-cooked lamb shank in a mint gravy with vegetables. Served with chips, which was full of flavor and succulent. We ordered 2 mixed grills and both were perfect with the exception of the steak, which was cooked perfectly to a medium rare, but was slightly tough. The hunter's chicken breast was topped with smoked streaky bacon, melted Cheddar & mozzarella, Texan BBQ sauce, dressed salad garnish and onion rings. All the mains were excellent. We don’t really do desert but was tempted to the Sticky Toffee Pudding with custard and clotted cream and the Eaton mess sundae with ice cream, clotted cream and berries, which again was outstanding. I’m not that local to the area, but will definitely be back if I’m passing by. A big thanks to the Staff who we did see and didn't see who made this visit so memorable.

An excellent Sunday lunch time meal at the Swan. It was fully booked so it was worth booking ahead. Great food. The roasts looked amazing but this time I had the smoked salmon open sandwich. A large piece of ciabatta with plenty of cream cheese, smoked salmon and cucumber.

Wonderful pub whether you’re there for drinks only, dinner, or a special occasion meal. The decor is fantastic and really cosy, with the open fire, bar seating, relaxing drinks area as well as a proper dining section at the rear. In the summer months the outdoor patio and garden is brilliant, and never suffers from a poorer service. Toilets and tables are always spotlessly clean, there’s loads of parking spaces, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. It’s a great pub and an asset to the area, and I’ll be sure to keep returning!

Good service, staff were friendly and humorous. Offered my dog some water and and made us feel welcome. The food was enjoyable, but the lamb was a little bit fatty. One of my regular pubs, would definitely recommend
