The food was incredible! Visited with 3 friends on Saturday evening and we all had meals we couldn’t fault. And the sides! We ordered them all because we couldn’t decide between them and they were all delicious! I had the rib eye steak, which was so tender and cooked to perfection. Also the service was wonderful.

Some of the best food I think I've ever tasted! We went in for a Sunday lunch, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, also because of dietary allergies wanted to completely cater for our parties needs. Quality of the food is fantastic, tasted amazing, and good portion size. Venue looks lovely, some really unique features in the bar area (with the bar itself looking fresh and modern), and the dining area ideal. Would recommend.

Went to the Four Pears for a business lunch yesterday and had an amazing steak! It was cooked to perfection and the only problem was I wanted more! I had to leave for a meeting but the person I was with had a sticky toffee pudding that he said was divine. Definitely go here if you haven’t already.

This was my third visit since October and whilst the food was good on the first 2 visits, the most recent visit was genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Everything was next level. The turkey and cranberry scotch egg was incredible and I don’t like scotch egg usually. The flat iron was seasoned with black garlic and I couldn’t get enough of it and it was cooked to perfection. The sticky toffee pudding was also awesome and I’ve had this before at the sister restaurant Ember. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. Ignore the negative reviews. You can’t please everyone. I would highly recommend a visit.

    ### Wonderful Dining Experience Under New Ownership I recently dined at this restaurant with a friend, and it was nothing short of wonderful. The recent change in ownership has clearly brought a breath of fresh air to the place. The food was amazing and truly lived up to the hype. Each dish was a delight, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The new chef/owner has a real talent for creating great tasting food that exceeds expectations. I can't wait to see what new additions will appear on the menu in the future. If the current offerings are any indication, we're in for a treat. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

The staff at the Four Pears squeezed my Dad and I in during a busy Sunday lunch service and although they made it clear the table was needed in an hour they never made us feel rushed. The restaurant is modern and spacious, tables nicely spread out so you can hear yourself talk over the hum of the other diners. The selection of 'Nibbles' we tried were lovely, whitebait, squid and halloumi fries. I had the Lamb shoulder and Pork Belly Sunday roast. Everything was cooked beautifully, the meat tender and tasty. Veg was great and a lovely big Yorkshire pudding on top. We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu, the Steak and Ale pie is calling my name.

Good food at a reasonable price. Service was very good. We shared a few of the nibbles for starters - squid and Japanese prawns recommended. Duo pork excellent as was the chicken risotto.

Excellent Sunday lunch in a traditional village location. Tastefully modernised pub with comfortable conservatory, dining room and bar. Food was excellent, good choice of options for both Sunday roast, pub food and small plates as well as specials and vegetarian and vegan options. Roast lamb and beef option was very tasty and served with all the trimmings. Stick toffee pudding was also excellent, generous portions and high quality food. Highly recommended.
