I met up with my girlfriend on my lunch break and we decided to go to Alushi’s. This place really is a hidden gem in Brighton. The smells coming from the coal grill and kebabs are incredible and immediately draw you in. We both went for the meal deal, which is excellent value: a wrap, chips and a drink for £12. We chose the homemade chilli sauce and garlic sauce, which were both delicious. The wraps were incredibly tasty. The meat was perfectly grilled and generously portioned. I went for the lamb while my girlfriend chose the chicken. The salad inside the wrap was very fresh, with ripe tomatoes and a lovely pickle that really stood out. On top of all this, the service was fantastic. The guy behind the counter was friendly and happy to make recommendations. When we were leaving, we told him how good the food was. He winked, wished us a great day, and clearly knows just how good his food is. Highly recommend this place.

This is a great Lebanese place, about a minute's walk from Brighton Station - near the Prince Albert Pub. Ali and Ahmed are very friendly and made me feel very welcome to their restaurant. It is a small place - can seat around 15 people indoors, and, on the day it was full. There is plenty of outdoor seating but it was a cold and damp evening. I therefore decided to get a takeaway. I ordered a Jumbo Shish Tawouk - 2 skewers of beautifully cooked chicken on a charcoal grill, with salad, rice and hummus. The food was delicious and the portion was huge - it served me for 2 meals. Ali even gave me a free wrap to go with the meal - £18.50 well spent! Whilst waiting for my food to get prepared, he offered me and the other people waiting a free falafel, which was a nice touch and hands down the best falafel I have had. A small business, with amazing quality and falvoursome food that goes the extra mile to make it's customers feel very special - a beautiful recipe for a place to visit time and again.

Ordered the Alushi small grill. The meats were delicious, tasty salad and crunchy chips along with 5 dips which really enhanced the meal. The two guys working there were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend and we will be back the next time we visit Brighton. Wish I'd taken a picture of my food before I devoured it, but I was hungry so included a picture of the menu and exterior.

We were visiting Brighton and spotted Alushi while having a drink at a pub nearby. We love Lebanese food and something about this place appealed to us. We could see it was small inside (only four tables) but one was free so we sat down and looked at the menu while a steady stream of people (many of them regular customers judging by the warm chat with the people that run the place) came in for takeout. We settled on the vegetarian platter for two at £26. Friends not only was it absolutely delicious and beautiful to look at, it could have fed a small town! We stuffed our faces with delicious food but couldn't finish it all. Absolutely incredible value. This place is a gem and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended.

We ordered the Meat Platter for Two for £40. In reality, the platter can easily feed 3 people or more! The restaurant was run by one person so it took some time for the food to arrive. Nevertheless, it was well worth the wait. The owner also generously offered us extra chips and pita bread too. Highly recommend!

Omg! This is the best Lebanese I've ever tried. The meat is absolutely delicious, juicy and really tasty. Big portion and really good and affordable price compare to other places, also the quality is outstanding. The dips, salad and rice come with the mix grill and they all are unreal! We also ordered some hallumi that come with an amazing basil and honey source..Honestly amazed! I absolutely advice this place to everyone that want to eat some real good meat and spend a decent price and not only they have great vegetarian and vegan dishes that looked delicious. Also all the meat is halal.

Absolutely out of the park brilliant. The evening we visited the owner was working alone, and tired from a large crowd of hungry people. Yet seeing our sad faces, he re-opened and produced probably the best chicken fillet wrap I've ever had. Tender, slightly spiced, juicy sticks of gherkins, a thin yet tasty wrap.. will be doing it all again soon.

Amazing, that’s all you need to know. Store is tiny but the quality of the food (and service!) more than make up for it. Owner (and other patrons) are friendly. Good music and good vibes. Did I mention the amazing food?
