   My friend and I had lunch here last Friday. Very enjoyable except for the pomegranate seeds sprinkled all over the salad. I crunched on one and nearly broke my tooth. It would be fine if it was an optional extra. I was unable to eat the salad as there were too many seeds to take out.

   Pretty light filled room with an amazing terrace if you want to eat outside. The food is very reasonable and delicious. Came for coffee and cake and stayed for lunch on the strength of that!

   Pop in to have a cheeky cup of tea as we were looking at 78 Derngate and what a lovely food place for food. Service was incredibly friendly, food tasty, we heard toasted cheese scone with Rene McIntosh style cheese slices and jam and butter, I had coronation chicken sandwich on brown bread with chips, salad and coleslaw on the side. The coronation chicken was just the right side of spicy were a little bit of heat plus oozing fruits that was so nice. The tea was spot-on and we sat outside enjoying the sun while contemplating the marvellous garden! Definitely a hidden find in terms of food, price, quality, friendliness, service.

   Lovely afternoon tea today. Lots of choice & really fresh sandwiches, cheese scones & mini quiche etc with selections of tea or coffee. Then when we had eaten our fill from stand Another stand with cakes & sweet scones, meringue etc brought out with more drinks Hannah made us very welcome & took the time to explain each tier to us & confirmed all freshly made each day Definitely recommend for a lovely afternoon tea

   A wonderful afternoon tea, a gift from a good friend. The cheese scones were exceptional and a fabulous selection of cakes. Hannah our waitress didn't rush us, and provided take away boxes for the cakes we couldn't manage. Well worth the stroll out of town (3 minutes)
