   This is somewhere I come often so booked an 80th birthday meal for 15 people, meals were already pre booked as I was informed it would make it easier for meals to come out together, on arrival at 4pm, the table was reserved for us under my name, no details of food ordered, half they didn't have, what they did provide was cold scampi, 3 dishes was those, lasagne cold, when I said about how shabby it was from the get go I heard about the chef cutting his finger off, whilst im sympathetic to that if you cant provide the service you advertised then call and say you cant accommodate that big a party ,the scampi and lasagne was not charged but unfortunately found out that a relative had paid for the scampi dish in with his own ,really disappointed in the evening ,maybe staff need to be trained how to take a booking and actually write down the orders ,will not do a large group meal again

   Food was nice, friendly service and staff were lovely. Very generous of the team to give us a bottle of Prosecco when you just order a glass. It was nice of them to give us another glass when you haven’t quite finished the one you got. The young girl has an amazing and impressive memory, and she was always come again.

   There’s always such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere whenever I visit The Spinney. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and the manager is always so approachable and kind. The food is consistently delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that the team take great pride in what they do, and it really shows in both the service and the overall experience. Whether you’re coming for a meal, a drink, or just to relax, it’s always a pleasure to visit.

   We had a wonderful lunch at the Spinney Hill. Our table had been pre-booked for 8 guests and on arrival we were welcomed at the bar then shown to our reserved tables. Everywhere was clean. The menu chosen was the senior menu which offered a great choice and excellent value for money. Food service was speedy, attentative and all of the guests enjoyed their meal. Thank you to all the staff. We will definately book again.

   Popped by to have a family meal, never been here before but first surprise was the decor it was very much different compared to your typical pub. It was modern and colourful with a great atmosphere. The door came very quick and was all very fresh and tasty. The staff were great and very professional and friendly. The garden looks amazing with plenty of tables and well looked after garden. Highly recommended place

   Our first visit for a meal since the refurbishment. Arrived at 5.15pm. Was already quite busy, but the welcome and initial service was excellent. Easy to order and the pies, in particular, were flavoursome and wholesome. Really enjoyable time. Thank you Spinney Hill.

   The Spinney is OK. Kind of like a local pub that serves food, but not really either. Toilets are terrible and there is often a long wait to be served and no proper glasses for your drink. I.E Lagers put in Smooth or Guinness glasses which just doesn't taste correctly. Summer is lovely in the garden but again it becomes very busy which always seems to increase the waiting time to be served.

   Went over to Northampton to visit family and met up in this very nice pub restaurant. The outside of the building could use a bit of tlc but inside was fine. The lunch time meals were all given the thumbs up by everyone ant the desserts were good. Will definitely meet up with family there again. Felt sorry for the hard working staff who were dashing about everywhere trying to keep everybody served covering up for an obvious staff shortage.

   Decent sized Car Park (dont drink and drive), big Garden, Live Sports so can watch the footy, darts board, wheelchair accessible. We had a Drink here for part of our mates Stag, the guy we dealt with was Jack, who was nice enough to book us a space for FREE as we were paying for food (we opted for the buffet), and obviously a fair bit of alcohol too (lumbertubs wanted £50). Variety of drinks. Toilets seemed clean when i was sober enough to remember. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is a Green King pub so can also order on the app Plan to visit again in the future. They are taking part in the the Season ticket app thing, so FREE drink for signing up and 10% off drinks whilst football is on. Improvements they could make for the future - Slush machine like they used to many moons ago - Put Purple Rain on the cocktail menu - Get a pool table
