   This restaurant went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, Chloe and Nathan treated us with genuine warmth and care. They paid attention to every detail, including a celiac allergy and a birthday celebration! This includes a lovely handwritten card. The food was absolutely outstanding as always! I highly recommend this to anyone.

   My wife and I took advantage of the birthday offer after receiving an email from Ego. We really enjoyed the food despite hearing one or two negative reviews since the change of ownership and refurbishment. The service offered by Holly S was exceptional, she was bubbly, extremely helpful and made a fuss for the benefit of my birthday. I was surprised at how quiet the restaurant was but possibly less so when I received the bill. I definitely think that mid week offers are needed, while I was happy with what we paid one meal was effectively free of charge. Overall a good experience but maybe look at a different menu or mid week offers if you want to attract more customers.

   Had a party for a retirement celebration. There were 14 of us and we complicated things with last minute changes to numbers due to sickness. Staff couldn’t do enough and everything went very well and smoothly. They re-set the table and made space for 2 prams for our newborn babies. Nathan was our allocated waiter and took the time to go over the changes to the pre orders, last minute changes and allergies to ensure they were all correct. Great food and service. Lovely atmosphere too. A wonderful afternoon.

   We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome from start to finish. We had beautiful afternoon tea the sandwiches were lovely and the cakes were scrumptious. Definitely be going again. Ir was great to see the place so busy and the atmosphere was buzzing.

   My wife brought me here for steak night on Tuesday as we both had the week off and didn't fancy cooking after a busy day. We booked in for 7.30pm and arrived a little before 7.15pm. The table wasn't quite ready so we were asked if we would like a drink in the bar and come back in about 15 mins. That was fair enough and we bought our drinks and found a place to sit. We returned just after 7.30pm and the table was ready, we sat and had a quick look at the menu, we had planned on having steak but had a look at the other options available. We ordered our food after about 10 mins and waited. This was the disappointment of the evening, the starters took forever, I think it was about 40 minutes until the did came. We didn't have any contact from the staff to say the food was going to take so long. Fortunately the food was really nice when it arrived, unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before eating it, this the empty bowl in the photo (garlic mushrooms with a couple of slice for crusty bread. My wife had the baked goats cheese, both very nice. On the plus side, our steak came out relatively quickly and they were very nice, I had the slightly larger version and it was cooked lovely. It comes with fries, large mushroom and tomato with some rocket salad. We didn't have desert as we didn't fancy anything and would probably have got fed up waiting. Summary, good food, pleasant staff, reasonable price, nice place. Slow service for us on this occasion. It did appear to be busy, but the staff could mention that it may take a while, just for info.

   Had a really delicious meal here today to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was excellent. We even enjoyed a glass of wine in the sunshine ☀️ . Definitely recommend and can't wait to go again

   The food was great. The starters were 10/10. The salmon main was amazing however the kebabs didn't hit the spot for my partner. Will definitely pay them a visit again!!
