   We came to The Saracens Head for Christmas dinner expecting something special, especially given the price. Unfortunately, it was a huge let-down. The turkey had no taste at all and was very poor quality — honestly some of the worst we’ve had. For £445, this was completely unacceptable. We’ve genuinely had better Christmas dinners at Toby Carvery, which says it all. The only positive was the dessert, which was nice, but it wasn’t nearly enough to make up for the rest of the meal. Overall, extremely disappointed and would not return.

   The food was pretty damn good, I've had salt and pepper squid and it was cooked to perfection with super crispy on outside and tender from squid! The roast turkey dinner was perfection with super crispy Yorkshire pudding, crispy potatoes and parsnips, decent portioned turkeymeat, tasty seasonal vegs. Decent portioned carvery, worth paying for! Highly recommend this high quality restaurant with decent value.

   I hired the private dining room to celebrate my 80th birthday with friends and family. Denika liased with the chef for us to obtain a suitable formal dining menu. We were allowed to tweak this to suit us all. The food was excellent and everyone remarked how much they enjoyed the whole evening. We had our own waiters/waitresses who all did a great job. It was a very memorable occasion made possible by all involved at the Saracens Head. Thank you.

   Stayed here for about a week recently bed and breakfast. Everyone was very friendly. Tracy very on it with breakfast every morning making my life as easy as possible. The entire place from the room to the toilets were kept extremely clean and welcoming. Would stay again. Thanks.

   Came in for a quick lunch. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. Staff were happy and chatty and very attentive. Food was amazing. Especially the Mac & cheese. Piping hot and really tasty!! Desserts were excellent and exactly as described. Looking forward to going back soon! Shout out to Rachel who served us. Really lovely lady.

   The experience was pleasantly unforgettable. The entire property was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The ambient temperature in the room was perfect, neither too cold or too warm. Amenities are ultramodern and well maintained. Services from reception to the restaurant to housekeeping are all exceptional. Food is well prepared, exquisitely presented and extremely tasty. All members of staff we encountered were outstanding ambassadors for the Company. This is a truly amazing place. Brilliant work. Thanks and keep it up.

   We decided to drop in for a meal as we had a bit of time to kill. We were greeted warmly and shown to a nice quiet area. Service was just the right level of attention and service but not over bearing. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was cooked to a good standard. Food, price and service had made it worth my while to recommend here. A well deserved "Well done" to all of the staff.

   We got married at the Saracens Head in September and we had the most amazing day. The hotel rooms were perfect and so comfortable! The room we got married in was decorated exactly how we wanted it (and even more than we asked for!) and the hotel staff even set us up a table out of the way (decorated again) that we didn't even know about. Michelle was absolutely amazing from start to finish and the staff around the hotel were also brilliant. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary dinner, the steak was divine!
