“Amy and Robyn at Happy Hounds have been nothing, but amazing since I’ve started taking my dog. He first went for a groom, had a run around before and after and was absolutely fine. I’d been looking for a daycare which would take intact males, so I asked if they did. Hesitant as my dog had started reacting to other intact males, I dropped him off and went to pick him up 2 hours later and he’d been absolutely fine. He’s been multiple times since and loves it to the point he’s whining in the car because of how excited he is and always comes home knackered! Couldn’t recommend Happy Hounds enough if you’re looking for a daycare or groomer for you dog!”

“We have received such a great service from Woof N Whiskers, looking after our two cats when we go away. One of our babies has been recently diagnosed with cancer and needs chemo tablets regularly, I was almost at the point that I thought holidays would need to be put on hold l, as I was so worried to leave our cats with someone else and then we found Amanda!!! We felt totally at ease that our cats would be in safe hands and we were right to do so. Regular updates with pictures of happy and well looked after cats! Melanie is also a great addition to the team!!! Can go away worry free, helped us out at short notice and just been great! Would 100% recommend!!!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the old chapel. This is an exceptional B&B. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lots of lovely extras including home made cake and an excellent plentiful breakfast. Communication was first class throughout with extremely friendly hosts. “Few vets seem to treat chickens nowadays, so this surgery is a gem. They are so knowledgeable and professional, but most importantly they are very caring and compassionate. Today we said goodbye to this beautiful chicken Dove. A rare fox attack yesterday and injuries that were too severe for further treatment. I held her for 10 minutes in the surgery room, as she drifted of to sleep, loving her cuddles as always. She was about 7 years old and had been with us for more than 4 years, part of my own healing journey after some personal trauma. Goodbye Dove, enjoy heaven, you deserve it. Thank you to all at Beech House, I have no hesitation in recommending this practise”

“Popped into the Crown today for a drink. We hadn't planned to eat, but the food being served looked too good to miss. The ladies behind the bar were very accommodating and soon prepared us a table despite them being busy already. The food was hot, delicious and a perfect portion size. The beef was exquisite! The service overall was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome by everyone.”

“Incredibly professional, kind and caring vets. I was recommended to Rhodes when I first got my cat, 4 1/2 years ago. The pet plan is a great help and reassurance that flea and worm treatments are costed in, reminders sent to your phone, plus all yearly vaccinations and free consultations. The reception team are fantastic, and the vets are always so supportive and considerate.”

“I really enjoyed my time here. Went for a family meal, and there was a wide choice of food for everyone. Quality of the food was great, and nobody had any issues. The venue was clean and welcoming, but maybe a little on the cold side with the change in temperature that day - but cant really blame them for that. Staff were all really nice and gave a great quality of service. The venue was great for us as a family to come, but it would equally be fine for just a couple to go to. My only point for improvement would be the beer selection wasnt exactly to my taste, but it might be to yours. Will definitely be making a trip there again, and hopefully when the canal museum is open too.”
