“Few vets seem to treat chickens nowadays, so this surgery is a gem. They are so knowledgeable and professional, but most importantly they are very caring and compassionate. Today we said goodbye to this beautiful chicken Dove. A rare fox attack yesterday and injuries that were too severe for further treatment. I held her for 10 minutes in the surgery room, as she drifted of to sleep, loving her cuddles as always. She was about 7 years old and had been with us for more than 4 years, part of my own healing journey after some personal trauma. Goodbye Dove, enjoy heaven, you deserve it.
