The Vet Centre got me in straight away and were able to see my cat early afternoon the same day as calling, she was displaying worrying behaviour and I was advised to seek in person vet advice asap. Aimee was great and patient whilst I explained the problem, I felt happy with the advice and information she gave and Gloom is feeling much better now!
Thorough examination and suitable treatment prescribed . The likely duration was explained and I can return if she does not improve .
I found the staff to be pretty rude and stressed out. You’re charging me an arm and a leg for the vet bills but you are struggling to get customer services correct. Make less bookings for the day as your staff are clearly stressed out from the pace of it all.
My experience (only twice) has been on the whole very good with my most recent visit being the better one. Anna was looking after my cat and had good knowledge, recognising her history and recommending a straight forward treatment. I would certainly place my trust in this vets if anything more serious were to be found with my pets. I would recommend to anyone in the local area.
A Veterinary practice that is caring, considerate and friendly to pets and their owners. Appointment reminders to your mobile helps ensure dates and times are not misheard, especially when concerned for your pet.
Not impressed at all with The Vet Centre recently. They used to be caring and compassionate but now they are corporate they simply only care about making more money. No communication from the senior vet there. Time to look for a practice with a more personal touch. Edited to add that our insurance company would not cover all the costs as they stated to us that the vet centre are charging way over usual veterinary prices. Beware.
Came here for a 2nd opinion on our 13 year old collie. Vet was very thorough and kind with our dog. Worked out how much movement he had by moving his legs (we'd been told by another vet he'd have to have an x Ray to work this out). Found a weakness in his back and just gave us some straight forward advice. Nothing to make us try and use our insurance. Gave us real confidence in their service.
Very efficient and helpful. Stressful weekend made easier by their friendliness and kindness. Very expensive but hey ho, we love our cats and dogs and do what's necessary. Recommended.
