We went for the pit masters special. £60 for two which included a whole beef short rib, a full rack of ribs, pork belly bacon, smoked chicken thighs, coleslaw, Texas toast and seasoned fries. Some great drinks selections too. They accommodated our little ones request for strawberry ice cream and sauce. Staff really attentive and friendly. Music kept dropping out so was quiet at times but that's the only issue. Highly recommended

No parking onsite but there is a car park in the pub next door and a large car park 30 seconds down the road, waited around 5 mins for someone to get our reservation and seat us( this was a Saturday night and busy), after we were seated the service was excellent, lots of drinks to chose from especially whiskey and whiskey flights. The food was too good for words perfectly smoked and seasoned tasted amazing I would highly recommend. Portion sizes were decent too.

The beef rib was really good (but it costs 29£), and the smashed burger was quite dried and the sauce too liquidy. We definitely recommend the beef rib. Service was superb and there was a really nice atmosphere eating in the garden by the river!

We tried several plates, a few starters and the main meal, and all I can say is, the food was phenomenal. I'm looking forward to going back again.

Fantastic restaurant with really great food. We went fairly early (630pm) so wasn't packed, with the customers mainly being families with young children. Would highly recommend!

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants to visit, and as someone that spends a lot of time in the southern states this used to be the closer we had to the real thing. Unfortunately after visiting tonight and finding out the menu had changed I can’t see myself coming back here any time soon. The vegetarian/ vegan options were poor, only 2 options on the main menu whereas there used to be a much better selection. While the quality of the food was still great the ‘gourmet’ feel took away from the charm of a low and slow smokehouse. Bring back the old menu.

Went here for the first time, we’ve wanted to go for over a year but things stopped us. So glad we finally went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Lovely atmosphere and great fitting music. We love our american style food so we were really excited to try. They didn’t disappoint at all! You get what you pay for and the portions are more than enough, so much so we had to take some home! The baby back ribs were to die for - they’d already fallen off the bone when it got to us! I also had the “walking dead” cocktail and the lady who brought it out lit the top of it on fire and it just made it that extra bit special. So happy we finally visited and will be going back again for sure! Thank you guys!
