   Visited for santa breakfast on Sunday 14th Dec. Food was good but the main event was santa. Never have we been so impressed with a santa clause at this type of establishment. Santa knew my child name, how i do not know but he made the whole experience magical. Left with a very happy 3 year old. A friend went the day before and it was a different santa who she said was nowhere near as good.

   The staff are lovely and very welcoming, it's just a shame about the pub and hotel. The rooms really need sorting ie: painting, furniture needs attention and the bed and sofa bed are so uncomfortable. The bathroom needs attention black mould in places. In the pub area the chairs we very stained and didn't look good. And the man clearing the car park does he really need to use a leaf blower at 6.30am.

   We didn't stay in hotel so cannot star the rooms. The food was lovely I had classic hunters chicken (chicken new yorker) and it is the best one I have had so far, the hot drinks were refills, staff friendly, would definitely go there again.

   The rooms were basic. Nothing out of the usual but I love their good condition, tmeperature and privacy. They were very clean and tidy. In term of the personnel I would stay with the Hubgry Horse, super friendly and helpful. Always with a smile on their face. Something much needed after so nany grumpy faces in other pubs. Lexy and Ala were outstanding in their profesionalism and service, made the difference to make us feel very welcome.

   Nice little place to grab a bite to eat. Very family friendly, if you have children they cater well from both food and odd bits to entertain them. If you are without kids you can still find a place that's fairly quiet away from kids should you choose. Eaten here a couple of times now and each time the food has been good. Good old pub grub if you will, very good value of you take advantage of their offers. Allyhe staff have always been very friendly most recently the bar team Evan was very helpful and a nice guy to chat with.

   Went yesterday for Christmas Dinner with my husband and dad. 10/10 for everything. The food was amazing, although we couldn't eat it all as there was so much. The atmosphere was fab and everything was very well organised. Staff were so lovely and very friendly and helpful. Thank you all so much for making our Christmas day wonderful x

   Popped in for an early tea on a Saturday. The place is well presented and clean, very suitable for diners of all ages. We ordered via the app and the drinks came very promptly. Service was also fast and friendly when it came to the food. There were booths with TV screens for the kids in one area though not all were working. Some of the upholstery looks tired and could do with repair or replacement. There are a few game machines dotted around such as magic claw etc and whilst we didn't use the outdoor area this would be inviting on a warmer day. There are also activity sheets and crayons available for the kids, as well as free wifi which is handy for phones and tablets if required. When the food came it looked amazing and there was a lot of it. Unfortunately it could have been warmer and the steak on my burger/steak combo was a little chewy. Having said that, the food was pretty much demolished. We'd love to be back and try some other meals out!

   This hotel is lovely and filled with friendly staff. The pub next door serves a great variety of food. The room was clean and had all the things you would need for a short stay. Situated in a brilliant place for us as it's 20 minutes away from Alton Towers. Would definitely recommend and return in the future. Thanks for a great stay
