   Very disappointing. I've previously visited the cafe and had great food. The food on this occasion was satisfactory but overpriced for what it is. What is most disappointing is the service and people. After my visit on Thursday, I left feeling as though I was not welcome and that I was "disturbing" the staff. The staff didn't greet us on arrival and did not come across as welcoming. We sat at a table for 10 minutes waiting for a menu to be given to us yet both women ignored us. One woman was stood on her phone when we were waiting and didn't even acknowledge us. Other customers came in and were smiled at and spoken to despite us saying hello and smiling when we arrived. We finally helped ourselves to the menus and placed our orders shortly after. The food took almost 20 minutes despite having little footfall in the cafe at that time. When the food arrived, it tasted sufficient enough. I ordered the avocado on toast, it cost £7.45 as I added a fried egg. The avocado had been chucked on the toast, no seasonings like salt or pepper were added, it tasted shop brought and not fresh. My partner had a sausage sandwich with a fried egg, which was overpriced for what it was, it was at best decent, the bread wasn't toasted and it wasn't worth the price. It's a shame, it was very overpriced for what it is. The staff were unwelcoming and overall it was just really disappointing. After this experience, we will not be returning unless the staff are trained in basic etiquette and manners. Also the prices need to be revised.

   Held my daughters 30th birthday bash here this evening in this beautiful little venue which is placed on a stunning courtyard. The service was excellent. A fabulous buffet was put on and it did not disappoint. Very generous amounts of food for cost. The staff were super lovely, nothing was to much trouble. Absolutely recommend Tick Tock Cafe for your event. You will not be disappointed.

   Fantastic little cafe. Didnt know about this small complex of shops. Easy to park very friendly service. Had a lovely mocha and a fizzy elderflower drink. Cake was to die for. Highly recommend homemade shortbreads
