   Felix was a great server, he was really funny and helpful! Delicious food and wine and amazing gluten free options for all meals, huge love for this pub. Will be back. Open Mondays too and such a lovely relaxed proper pub atmosphere.

   Stopped here for the night in our camper van last night,A very warm & polite welcome awaited us,We booked a table for our dinner and what an absolutely amazing meal we had,Fish & Chips for myself and Braised Shin Beef for my wife,A very peaceful nights sleep,We decided after our morning cuppa for a walk along the Staffordshire Way to Rudyard Lake with our dog,Again bey peaceful & pleasant. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

   We visited with a large group of 13. We pre ordered, the food was served quickly and we were well attended too. There was an issue with one of the dishes but the team resolved the issue quickly. Food was really good and whole great value for the quality. Would definitely eat there again.

   Lovely warm welcome by staff. We sat in the snug area which was also dog friendly, by the log burner and which was constantly being topped up by the attentive staff. We ordered The Knot sandwich which was like a mini buffet - presented beautifully, tasted fantastic and was great value for money. There were lots of people in both the bar and the restaurant areas. Seeing so many cooks and staff in the kitchen as we walked passed the open kitchen was great and why they are able to serve such high quality food without a huge time to wait. We will definitely be going back .

   I recommended the Knot Inn to my family as my husband and I had a delicious New Year's eve dinner there. Our table was for six and we chose to eat in the restaurant. We were greeted and taken to our table and asked if we would like drinks. The service is fantastic and there's a very relaxed atmosphere. I had the roast beef dinner and I have to say everything was cooked to perfection. The beef melt in your mouth and the vegetables Al dente, the roast potatoes perfect and of course you can't forget the Yorkshire puds (delicious) I must say the horseradish sauce was a true delight. As a desert I shared the sticky toffee pudding with my husband. Light and fluffy and the sauce well, what can I say like melted treacle toffee. Outstanding. I recommend anyone to try the food.

   10/10! After a recent change of tenants and management team the knot is finally back to a very high standard and definitely worth a visit! The pub is warm and welcoming with the most amazing log burner! It's clean and fresh. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I've only dined once from the light bites menu which were lovely. Cannot wait to try more off the main menu. Keep up the good work! It's great to have a pub open in the village again! X
