The venue is great, well set out. Always kept clean and tidy, glasses collected quickly. Foods always okay for branded catering. Just baffles me with the bar, it's wetherspoons but everyone is queuing down the length of the bar to get to the front to be served... surely when it's always busy labour allows you to put extra bar staff on and serve people as they arrive at the bar. You would serve people much faster, turn tables, extra sales, people would have an extra drink.

First thing that came to mind on entering No Sticky Carpets especially no sticky floor at Bar either. Very friendly and helpful staff when choosing guest beers. Typical Spoons Toilets upstairs but again clean. Really couldn't walk away without showing off the gents Toilets very Art Deco.

Burger i order was alright but not piping hot, like other places I've ordered from. Chips weren't as hot as id of like, they were more best described warm. The drinks are fine but what is odd that it came 2 minutes after the meal, normally well before you receive the meal when ordering. There is plenty of choice on the menu but I think there is too much choose to where I think its hurting the overall food experience. Girlfriend ordered ham egg and chips but they didn't come out hot at all, genuine not worth the money for barely hot food. Atmosphere looks dingy, I'd think the windows providing more light then the low lit warm bulbs they use up ahead. Not exactly comforting when your eating. Feels more empty and cold then a warm an inviting environment. Warm colours suppose to say inviting but place wasn't the look of inviting. Place was busy but it felt empty with its dated decor choice. Verdict, not recommended, wouldn't come again Update - Threw up later at home. Genuine think burger wasn't cooked enough

Work in Stone a couple of days per week so have been coming in for my lunch. Lunchtime offers are great. Soft drink and a meal for just under 8 quid! Drink served within a couple of minutes to the table and the food is always quick as well! Longest I’ve waited is about 5 minutes for my food. Great service

Unfortunately for me it's regarded as a meeting point, Go Spoons for one!!!! A great building and big inside, food tables separated from drinkers. Despite my rating it is a good place and the staff are friendly

The staff are amazing. They work hard, and are helpful, but there isn't enough of them. Sometimes there's glasses on tables, and tables are sticky, but the floor is clean as possible, but most of the upholstery is tired, and really really grubby. Fireplace is rarely tended, and usually the basket has no logs in it. The plates are hot, the food varies in temperature from warmish to cold.

Weatherspoons menu so it is good value and nice food, the kids loved the buttermilk chicken burgers. The free hot drink refill were nice aswell as the weather was awful. It also had a real fire going which was a nice relief from the cold. We will definitely go back next time we are down that way. There is also a small D and D / games workshop type store next door for anyone who is interested.

Blimey! What's happened to this place? Clean, yes and the tables too. Cheerful smart staff. Good service, the lot. Ok, great food tonight but it was fish&chips which has always been good if you could put up with the other low standards thus pub has been festering under for the last few years.

A very popular and busy bar. Food and drink are both excellent and the staff are very hard working and pleasant. Although the toilets are clean and modern, they could have been designed better. After washing your hands you have to walk away from the exit and further into the toilet to find the hand dryers.
