Bit of a rip off tbh - Unbelievably small portions, picture attached is a large chips at £4, dread to think how small a small is, probably a cone - The Gravy has an antiseptic aftertaste. Quick service but I suppose it doesn’t take long to put one scoop of chips in a large tray.
Fish (haddock) was mushy, and powderi (slightly grainy) chips were OK, however at £4:50 for a large portion is a bit steep considering it was only a polystyrene tray with a few extra chips. Would I go again.... NO!.
Fish chips and mushy peas. It was reasonable but the fish seemed too perfectly shaped. I prefer a fish which looks more like it's been dipped in batter then chucked in the drier. There is a good selection in the menu of kebabs and burgers etc. The place is nice and clean but parking can be difficult in busy times such as Friday afternoons. Has always been a well visited chippy over the years.
This place has been fantastic for years. Great service, great product and all at a decent price too. Needed a decent meal, quick. Got fish, chips and mushy peas. And it really hit the spot. Already looking for an excuse to visit again. Brilliant
Best chippy I've been to for a number of years! Amazing food, really big portions, all the staff were fantastic and friendly. Prices were great too. The kebabs were the best I've had for a long time. Defo recommend!
We went recently, we got back home and part of the order was missing and the chips were almost burnt they were very dark brown kids wouldn’t eat them me and hubby had to share a meal as one missing and the food was cold

The best chippy in Congleton. Never disappointed. Other than the traditional fayre, kebabs, chicken curry, and other specialities are also served, like halloumi.
Quite possibly the best chippy in Congleton. We've never had a bad meal from here. The large fish is massive, so definitely one for sharing, or for someone who is extremely hungry. Highly recommend.
