   I have one word: sickening. Not only did the food give me food poisoning, I could not attend my place of work which resulted in me getting fired. This food was pretty much raw and there was some unknown liquid oozing out of it also the pizza was rock hard, i snapped one of my dentures on it. I asked for a refund politely and had no communication, food arrived 3hrs late and all in all tragic. The food should of had a biohazard warning if im being 100% honest

   they are clearly hiring anyone these days. food was raw, service was terrible. don’t come here unless you want to waste your money. chicken came pink? now i’m not a chef but i highly believe that’s not right. the rest of the food came with small hairs on it and tastes awful. surely for the amount of money it costs it should be safe to eat but clearly that’s not the case. hygiene critics will be notified about this not happy whatsoever, you couldn’t pay me to come here again.

   Pathetic excuse for a takeaway , Last night (13/12/25) I ordered A portion of chicken and chips , it might as well of been pigeon and chips . Along side of it hardly being cooked the meat was tragic and I couldn’t bare my self to eat it . There seemed to be Strands of unknown hairs in my food . The Staff were rude over the phone . It also seemed as if they don’t want your custom . Delivery time was supposed to be approximately 30-45 minutes my food arrived 2 hours later but it was still warm so I didn’t think to mention anything until I opened my food which I could hardly call food . Complete and utter waste of time and money. Hard earned money spent on nothing but a waste . 0/10 , If there was an option to give 0 Stars I would doesn’t even deserve 1 . The Staff seem to think of it as some sort of joke with the attitude they speak to you with over the phone . DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE !!

   I've ordered twice from these guys. The first occasion was actually because our usual favourite was unexpectedly closed so we thought we'd try somewhere new. I placed an order for 3 meals. What we got was not what we ordered, with different bread and different sauce. The mistakes were nice though so I didn't complain. Since the food itself was nice, I decided to give them another go when it was just myself at home. When the food was ordered it was meant to take "up to 45 minutes" to be delivered according to the site. One hour and 20 minutes later, there was no sign of the food and no communications to say it was going to be late. I got on the phone to ask where it was and spoke to some guy who stated very matter-of-factly that they were waiting for a driver. There was no acknowledgement of the delay and no apology. I can understand mistakes and mix-ups. I can even understand delays. But the nonchelant attitude of the staff regarding an order that was eventually delivered 1 hour and 55 minutes after it was placed (and the sarcastic resonses I've seen tonight to similar complaints on their Facebook page) mean that unfortunately, there isn't going to be a third order.

   Last Nights Order (October 13th 2025): Chicken Pakoras (X5), Keema Pilau Rice, Large Mixed Kebab With Keema Naan And Garlic Mayo. Subtotal: £26.35 Delivery Charge: £1.50 Service Charge: £1.00 Total: £28.85 + Tip To The Driver. It’s been a while since we ordered from hotspot. Very disappointed with the food we received. The pictures attached were taken the day after ordering (Today October 14th 2025) to prove we pretty much left everything that was sent to us. Starter, Chicken Pakoras: Usually, Hotspot make these quite well. It came to a shock to us when we received burnt batter and chicken. There was only 2 small pakoras that seemed edible, I assure you, appearance fooled us. Trying to bite into the ones left behind would for sure result with a trip to the dentist. Side, Keema Rice: Usually, another piece on the menu that hotspot are good at making. Last night unfortunately wasn’t their night. The rice was hard, gritty and sank in oil. Uncooked rice with burnt and gritty bits that swam in oil was not a pleasant sight, nor was it a pleasant taste. We left this after 1 spoonful each. Main, Large Mixed Kebab: All the meats were cold, Steak was tough as a boot, Keema Naan seemed uncooked, garlic mayo smelled off! Not to mention the box came burnt like it had caught fire on their cooking equipment, and splattered egg on the bottom of it! We now feel sick and quite frankly robbed. Will not be returning and we recommend everyone to avoid also. We would appreciate if Hotspot would issue a refund, as I feel I could’ve burnt my own chicken, undercook my rice and sink the rest of my food in oil. Not impressed.

   Has been very good in the past but previous 2 orders have been wrong and taken well over an hour to be delivered. More expensive now for less food as well. Time to look elsewhere!

   Have previously enjoyed good service. Over recent months deteriorating. Placed an on line order tonight at 6.30om. Still not arrived at nearly 9pm. Online timer just keeps extending the time and when I try to call hanging up the phone - 8 times. Will not be using again

   Worse takeaway I have ever had. Chips tasty funny and were cold and the lamb on the lamb kabab was tough and inedible.

   Soggy chips in burger, crusty kebab meat and a burnt garlic pizza even a 5yo said "I don't want it it's burnt" after crying cuz the food wasn't coming, arrived 2.5hrs when delivery stated 1hr15m. That aside quality is dogsh!!, I bet a starved dog wouldn't eat this. Bin enjoyed it though
