   Went inside to find the most miserable old man who proceeded to get my order wrong (I ordered a small chips with no vinegar, he put vinegar on). Fair enough, he redid the order after realising. £2 for a handful of chips. They were dry and dull, with about as much flavour as my Amazon package. Clearly had been there all morning. Wouldn't recommend tbh.

   Brilliant chippy at very affordable prices. Fish cooked to order. Went with a few friends as we were walking from pub to pub. Service takes time but Phil works on his own but great food. We all had something different but all enjoyed our food.

   First time trying here tonight and will 100% be returning! Homemade chicken curry was absolutely gorgeous. I’ve read a few reviews slating the portion sizes … some people will NEVER be satisfied and expect the world for free. Prices are insanely low and I commented to my friend that he needs to up them! One man army doing it all, be kind or don’t say anything at all. Phil you have gained another customer :)

   Not long moved to the area and fancied a chippy, we were not disappointed! Had fish and chips which were cooked fresh and served by a pleasant gent. Really good curry sauce too! Would recommend to anyone!

   Second time we’ve tried this chip shop. Unfortunately very disappointed with the size of the chip portion both times. Usually can get at least 2/3 good size portions out of a large chips from other chip shops but from here the large chip portion wasn’t enough for 2 of us.

   Says 2.99 for a large fish, chips and curry out front, but charged me 8 quid. Sadly I was too busy chatting to realise. Personally I prefer my chips with more colour (was pale white) but the fish was excellent. Owner is friendly and chatty and place seems immaculately clean. No wheelchair access as steps at door, but you could ring in and I'm sure they would being your food out.
