   We recently visited the bluebell for my Dad’s 60th and the team did an excellent job of accommodating us. We had a large party and the option to pre-order saved us a lot of time / hassle. Our server went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after, thank you! The food was also excellent, I had the pork belly which was delicious!

   Had a party of 25 for a birthday meal. Pre ordered the food, due to the numbers and everything was top notch. The staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough, helped to make it a special day. Definitely recommend it THANK YOU.

   My wife and I visited ‘The Bluebell’ for lunch for her birthday. Lovely decor etc but my steak with pepper sauce was amazing as was my wife’s cheese and onion pie. We had 2 white wines , two tonics and one cheesecake. We asked for the bill and we paid using a £100 gift voucher. We didn’t get the bill and the waitress took my wife’s phone with the voucher on it to the till. When she returned she just said you have £3.25 left and we never saw a bill and couldn’t check it. We were picking up the children from school so had to go immediately. When we got home we added up the food and drinks we had received and there was a difference of about £15 missing. We reported this to the pub and they said the staff would be receive training. This was not a good experience at all. The waitress had charged us £10.50 a glass of house wine x 2 ( should have been £6.50) and deduced service charges which was not much short of £20. When we emailed them we were offered a round of drinks or 10% off our next meal. We won’t be going back !

   Our Second visit to the Blue Bell and again it was outstanding! We ordered off the steak night menu 2 x Ribeye with all the trimmings and a very good bottle of Malbec for £63!! Amazing one of the best restaurant steaks I have had! Our front of house Natalie and Olivia were exceptional Thank you Blue Bell Team!

   What an absolute treat this place is, it's a lovely homely pub restaurant, the food was amazing, it's not cheap but you definitely get good value for money. Also let me give a special mention to our waitress Isabelle, she was was of the best waitresses I've ever had, she's very attentive and has a delightful manner. Thank you. We will definitely be returning.

   Nipped into this fantastic old country pub for a pint of refreshments from our seven mile walk, we were met with a friendly smile and quick service, there was already a big bowl out so the dog could also get some refreshment. Lovely and warm with a real fire lit. We'll worth a visit.

   First visit today. Lovely pub, lots of tables outside and loads of clean water bowls for dogs. The food was gorgeous, proper home cooked food and the staff are so friendly. Absolute gem of a place. We will definitely be visiting again, well worth going to.
