   Marios is our go to Chippy for great service, a laugh with the staff and lovely food. In 7 years we've never had a bad meal and always been well looked after. They remember our order too which means a lot as a customer (thanks ISABELLE!!). I have observed them dealing with customer issues suerbly and they will go to great lengths to ensure a good experience. Highly recommend. Thank you, team.

   How bad can a chip shop with a 4.4 rating be so awful? Go in on a Friday tea time. Plenty of staff 1 cooking, 1 taking a telephone order, 1 serving and 2 watching like outcasts at a wedding. So after getting a portion of fish and chips wrapped nicely and handed over with a smile i returned home to partake of my chippy tea, well that's what I was expecting. Firstly the fish was tiny almost as though it was from the smaller value meal but i was charged £7.50ish for this meal. Just take a look at the attached picture, the fish had an odd taste to it aswell and the chips were mainly little scragg ends. Yes you know it'll be a long time before I go back for a second round

   The best chippy in town! I have been a customer of Mario's Fish Bar for over 4 years. The food is very tasty! The kebabs are my favourite, oh so yummy... Chips are homemade and not frozen like other places. Overall is very good value for money! Service is excellent and very quick. Always a busy place, so yeah, they are doing something right! The staff is very polite and will always serve with a smile! So lucky to have it in the area!

   Been going here nearly 3 years now, the food is generally good although sometimes the chips are a bit under done. You certainly get good portions for your money. The thing that lets it down is the service, the women serving can either be very friendly or downright rude, I’ve unfortunately experienced and witnessed both. Also had comments made about me being late for my click and collect when I was only a few mins behind, but had to stand for over 5 mins while the only person serving chinwagged with an extremely indecisive customer. Just completely unprofessional, but unfortunately it’s my local. Has to be said, Hightown Fish and Chip shop has just as good food but better customer service.
