    Went to the Old Swan yesterday, a lovely country pub. It was my first visit for lunch. The food was very tasty, good portion size, well presented and value for money. I had a steak and onion ciabbatta, chips, salad and onion rings. The service was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.

    I bought 2 groups of 10 and 16 here for Christmas gatherings. Everything was efficiently organised with the varied drinks orders bought to the table. There was a Christmas menu and an ordinary menu so the choice was immense. All the meals were served together no mean feat as there were many different meals.All were served really hot and massive portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal.Service was excellent and friendly.and folks allowed to pay separately. Both events were a great success. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Been wanting to try this place for a while, food was ok, my burger was well overdone, along with the snp squid. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Dining area was very quiet, with one other table eating, we were the only two tables eating.

    Attended with a large group for a Retirement Do, service was well managed despite the size of the group. The room was very echoing so conversations seemed very loud at times. Some people complained food was a bit greasy and the skin on the Sea Bass was not as crispy as they would like. £4.20 a pint for diluted Diet Coke was a bit steep.

    What a beautiful pub, walked in, needed a table for 6, the lady sorted it out even though they had taken a booking for 20 people. Brilliant menu, food looked & tasted fabulous, service was quick. Waiters were so helpful & polite. Definitely would recommend for anyone to eat there.

    We had a Christmas family celebration meal on the 23rd December. The food was great and there was a great choice of glutton free and a vegan choice for two of the group. The service was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Went for a birthday meal and really enjoyed my first visit. Delicious food and big portions. There's a big room at the back which gives it more room than you might think from the outside. Will definitely visit again.
