I don't travel to Staffordshire often but when I do I marvel at the rich character. Sneyd Arms offers it in buckets. ...a great traditional English experience but some unexpected but also historic connections to the wider world. Atmospheric and friendly. Next time I'll be sure to order the lasagna with chips that sounded so flavoursome and warming.

Lovey dog friendly pub and a superb Sunday lunch! We’ll be back again next time we visit our son at Keele university!

Visited after an open day at Keele University, food was absolutely amazing. Waitress in charge was great with handling my gluten allergy, ensuring my meal was completely safe. Food was absolutely lovely. Defo would recommend to anyone visiting or with gluten allergies as there is plenty of options! Nice christmassy menu my daughter had a pigs in blankets sandwich! The building itself is beautiful, with a lovely looked after fire to keep us warm and a nice country pub feel Waitresses Katie and Artida were great, with the ginger lady (not sure who’s who!) taking the time to chat to my daughter about Keele University. She gave her accommodation and studying advice after she said she was a bit nervous to come to university, and had lots (and I mean lots!) of questions for her as they were on the same course, (and soothing our worries too!) Waitress even said she was welcome to chat to her if she was feeling stressed or to just say hi if she spotted her on campus l. Made my anxious daughter feel loads better which was so appreciated. Would definitely recommend. Will be back!

Really enjoyed our meal last night (8/2/23). Staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered from the French menu and ordered the salmon and my husband went for gammon and chips. The chips are amazing, food was beautifully cooked and fresh. Portion sizes were healthy! We will definitely return.

Great place! Went recently for their 'World Tour' they had running in the restaurant. It was Spanish week. Meatballs were delicious and the Patatas Bravas were perfect. Lovely, busy but calm, quiet atmosphere. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful with every question we had. Very cosy by the fire too. Nice place for a quiet meal and a drink.

Talk about breaking the mould! The new management have changed the Sneyd Arms standard and raised the bar. What used to be a consistent pub experience has changed to a bar and restaurant. The front of house bar is the same, and they've changed the back into a restaurant area. Despite a wait for our mains, the food is absolutely amazing, from the flavour of the fries and salad garnish to the main itself, and the quality of the ingredients, the new Sneyd Arms is making a bold statement in carving its mark. I had to order dessert to see if the puddings were as good as the mains, and I was not disappointed. My wife chuckled as I scooped the last of the chocolate fudge sundae, saying "get in my belly!" Overall, very pleased with the new menu. Looking forward to coming back.

It was lovely! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was busy but relaxed and it was a warm and comfortable environment. The food was absolutely divine! I had the sneyd burger which delicious and really juicy, the skin on fries were lovely. Overall it was good value for money and so enjoyable that we booked for Sunday lunch!
