Easy to book. Nicely appointed interior. Warm friendly staff and such a tasty meal prepared with some imagination. We hadn't expected such a great experience tbh so thanks. My steak was superb.

We visited here for Sunday lunch. We'd not been before so I can only comment on the Sunday menu in isolation. The place itself is nice, a mixture of old and newer inside, and an outdoor seating area, and a grassed area too. There is plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and attentive, and weren't phased by us taking a baby, providing us with a high chair and a couple of toys. Food was all good and freshly cooked. There should be something for everyone to enjoy in every course, even from what I assume is a slightly curtailed Sunday menu. I think there were five different choices for each course. There is an extensive gin selection, and the nice touch of a variety of tonics. Unfortunately, I was driving! All in all, very nice. I would eat there again.
