A little disappointed. Purchased a pair of work shoes which ripped. I emailed Soletrader but as I purchased them from a shop they needed to be returned to a shop. The shop were happy to refund or replace as it was a fault with the shoe. They couldn't do a like for like replacement as there were none left in stock. The new shoes were £40 more. They wouldn't do anything on the price increase even though it is 30-45 min journey, each way. That was disappointing enough to make me check prices online later. Soletrader online store have lots of discounts for similar shoes. All this means is, that next time I need a pair of shoes, I'll purchase them online instead of in store, putting yet another nail in the coffin of the high street shop.

Today I wanted to buy a pair of shoes that costs 150 pound. They said that i can pay cash but except 50 pound. 50 is a UK’s money also, I’m mot a UK citizen, so I didn’t want to use my credit card. I would understand if they don’t accept eur or us dolar but 50 pond it’s really strange !

The staff is uninterested, unfriendly and borderline rude. Everything seems to be too much trouble even though they never seem to be busy in the slightest. And when I went to return one of the 2 very expensive pairs I bought, the guy inspected them like if I was a delinquent! I understand they have to check if they’ve been worn but it was obvious they hadn’t yet he looked and looked and looked. Made me feel really uncomfortable

We would like to give Josh 10 stars for customer service. On Monday afternoon brought 2 pairs of shoes for our wedding (1pair being for my son) and 1 pair had to be delivered. They arrived as promised on Tuesday afternoon. Sadly too big so went back to see Josh at Churchill Square Brighton early Wednesday morning and he not only reordered another pair but reassured us that if they didn't come next day he would find a solution. Pleased to say they arrived first thing this morning (Thursday) and we get married tomorrow (not my son!!!). Thank you Josh for going above and beyond on customer service.... We will definitely be shopping in Sole Trader again and will be recommending to others too.

Few days ago, I was victim of a fraud on eBay, someone took control of my account eBay account. Ebay ensures that they would take care of this with the seller so purchase would be cancelled and reimbursed They sent message to Sole Trader. I also sent 3 messages. Soletrader never replied, and kept the charge without reimbursement and sent the item in a non verified address. The fraud is over 160 euros and I suspect this seller and company are fully taking part in the fraud. Avoid them if do not want issues
