   Lovely pub, food was very tasty compliments to the chef! Service very poor, one older lady waiting on, one lady with darker hair (possibly manager) needs to work on her customer service skills, 10 minutes to get a menu let alone ask if we want a drink, not really working together with the lady waiting on meaning table clearing and order taking was very slow. Our table didn't get cleared at the end of the meal, we sat there with dirty plates for about 30minutes until getting up to pay at the bar. Shame, as the service at other restaurants in this chain are 100times better than this.

   We visited the Combermere Arms as a group the night before our wedding down the road at Combermere Abbey. Everything was fantastic! The team were wonderfully accommodating after we had emailed to make arrangements. The food and service were fantastic and we were so well looked after. The menu had a brilliant range of dishes with lots of gluten free options (1 coeliac guest) and we would definitely love to visit again to sample more. The vibe of the pub was just lovely and the atmosphere was perfect.

   Food here is always amazing. The atmosphere is so lovely and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There's lots of choice on the menu and everything tastes incredible. Sunday lunch and Christmas Dinner here is also amazing!

   We went to The Combermere Arms yesterday afternoon for my Mum's birthday and had such a great time. The food was delicious — I had the basil gnocchi for my main and it was amazing! The staff were so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a really good experience. We’ll definitely be back!

The venue itself is beautifully presented—elegant yet comfortable, with a charming mix of rustic character and modern touches. Whether you're seated indoors or outside enjoying the scenic surroundings, the setting adds a special touch to the overall experience. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. It's clear they take pride in making guests feel relaxed and well looked after. Now to the food: absolutely superb. Every course we tried was full of flavour, thoughtfully presented, and made with quality ingredients. From the perfectly cooked mains to the indulgent desserts, it’s evident that the kitchen takes great care in their craft. Pricing is on the higher side, but honestly, it reflects the quality you receive. It may not be an everyday spot, but for a special meal or a treat, it's worth every penny. In short, the Combermere Arms delivers an excellent dining experience—top-notch food, fantastic service, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

   We had the Korean Fried Broccoli (my friend said it was delicious) and the Harrisa Sweetcorn Ribs - totally disappointing and way to costly (£525 / $6.22) for 1/2 an ear of corn quartered. For the main meal we had the steak burger, braised shoulder of lamb, sticky lime and ginger chicken, and the steak, smoked bacon, and venison pie. They were all excellent! The service was very good and the women bar tending and/or the manager was extremely welcoming and a kind. The building itself is worth the visit.
