It’s like being in the side streets of Portugal instead of Norwich. Such amazing food. We ordered a selection of tapas style dishes, mostly seafood ones and they were all unbelievably tasty. It’s small, authentic, welcoming and shouldn’t be missed.

This is in my top 3 places to eat in Norwich. The food is delicious, full of flavour and beautifully cooked each time. The service is great, the staff are always genuine, friendly and take great care throughout the service experience. It’s small and intimate, making the experience feel more personal. Worth every penny for everything I’ve stated above, you really can’t go wrong. My favourite dish is their sirloin wagyu steak, and all of their wine is some of the best I’ve ever had, I would come here everyday if I could afford it. A truly underrated gem of a place!

Wow! We had been recommended this restaurant by some local foodies so we had high expectations, and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent, perfect ambiance with jazz music that wasn’t too loud, beautiful plates, and obviously the amazing food. The octopus carpaccio came in a tasty ponzu dressing that we had to resist drinking, and the Cataplana was so delicious, we mopped up all the sauce the bread. Exciting wine selection too. We’ve been fortunate to have gone to some great restaurants (including Michelins around the world) but this is definitely one of our favourites now. Can’t wait to go back!

It is extremely rare that I write a review without photos of the food we order, but visiting Jorge's in Norwich is an exception, simply because we were just so relaxed and enjoying the experience and the ambience that I completely forgot to take photos of the courses we enjoyed. Being a tapas restaurant, you could end up with 4 or 5 or even 6 courses, the food was that good! I did manage a couple of snaps of dessert and the building and signs as we left. It's small but cosy and a comfortable space. The staff are the best and very welcoming. Excellent dining experience. Highly recommend.

This restaurant serves truly delicious Portuguese food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bread with olive oil and olives is soft, fragrant, and a perfect start. The fried squid is fresh and full of flavour, while the Portuguese beer pairs wonderfully. A great spot to enjoy authentic tastes!

If you are a Portuguese national, and you close your eyes and randomly choose any of this restaurant's dishes, you will, suddenly, find yourself at home. If you are from any other nationality, you will be brought to an exiting gastronomic trip to Portugal! I would summ up to "Portugal at the tip of your tongue!". Simple and so freaking delicious!

Can't fault the place. Quite small, make sure you book. Not cheap, but worth it. Great food & service.

This is gem of a restaurant! The food is amazing and so are the staff! A little bit of Portugal in Norwich. We had been for lunch in the past and this time we had dinner, it was superb! We both had the fillet steaks supplied by “Tom Hixson of Smithfields” they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat was served with skin on fries, pepper and onion salsa and peri peri sauce. The finest steak i have had for a long time!

Newbies to Norwich looking for somewhere for lunch. Found Jorges and got in at the height of lunch hour. Delicious tapas and wine. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and decor. Loved the place.

Atmosphere - excellent Staff - attentive Food - good Overall, lovely experience and recommend it to any Norwich locals! Only thing - the bisque was an unusually small portion. I’ve normally only ever had it as a soup. This was more of a purée so this explains it to some degree, but it really should have been a bigger portion for £9.50. I would rather a bigger helping of bisque instead of the prawns because it was delicious.
