Arriving in Brighton hungry and cold on a Sunday night, I quickly searched for a local Halaal spot nearby to satisfy my pangs. If this was a review about 'Parking in Brighton', I'd no doubt be giving it a 1 star. My decision to go here was mainly driven by the proximity to where I got lucky with the parking, and the length of stay for my fleeting visit (1 hour max). I thought this was just another usual peri peri joint, but I quickly noticed I could get a thigh piece in my burger, which quickly awakened my senses, and without hesitation I had it ordered. A normal 5/10 minute wait time now seemed like a lifetime due to my anticipation. I questioned my decision to go 'Hot' knowing I had a long journey back. I already knew this was no ordinary burger when it arrived with a fork poked through the middle to keep it altogether. The hot sauce was dripping from the sides. Half the chips laid bare on the roof slate it was served on. Given only a few customers present, I knew I didn't need to be civilised while I tackled the burger as if I hadn't seen food for 44 days. It was messy, it was tasty, it had me awe-ing, sometimes I forgot to chew. My emotions couldn't keep up with my tatsebuds and vice versa. Overall a great experience. Thanks to the staff for putting together a delicious masterpiece. No problems in the morning after either. Win win.

THEY SABOTAGED MY ORDER AND PUT A PUBE IN MY FOOD. I came in happy and excited for chicken. I asked the server if Texas BBQ is spicy at all and politely mentioned I only ask because I’ve got quite a bad tolerance for spice. He told me “No no, Texas BBQ is not spicy at all - very very sweet.” So I politely ordered it to go and then sat to wait for my chicken. I then noticed as I waited 10+ minutes for my chicken, that the chef and the server were both glaring at me and started literally whispering as they glared at me. As a young woman, this made me quite uncomfortable and confused. I then received my chicken wings, thought I’d sit down for a moment to try a couple. The two workers were staring at me. Turns out they’ve lathered it a really spicy sauce, and obviously hoped I’d leave to go try it. These two men made me feel so weird I didn’t even want to approach them, so just left with the chicken and gave it to my friend, who then noticed A PUBIC HAIR was put inside the bag too. After all this, both my friend and I got sick from the chicken. Really shocking and nasty behaviour, I came in so happy and polite and they pulled a horrible trick on me for no reason. Absolutely avoid this place.

I visited here last Tuesday (26/08/2025). It’s a lovely restaurant and the food was really good. I mistakenly ordered the grilled burger thinking it was fried. Halfway through, I realised and went back to let them know I actually wanted a fried burger. I believe the chef took the half-grilled chicken fillet and fried it. It still tasted nice, but I feel it should have been explained before doing so. I didn’t complain as the food turned out well in the end. Wishing the team all the best.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. I ordered a chicken burger, and the chicken was completely undercooked and extremely tough. I raised a complaint and requested a replacement, but the second burger was just as bad as the first one. After a lot of discussion, there was no real improvement. The restaurant seriously needs to focus on properly cooking the chicken and ensuring it is tender. Overall, both the food quality and the service were very poor.

Ibrahim served me and was very patient and kind when I couldn't decide what to eat. He recommended the chicken thigh wrap which I got as a to go order. Food was very tasty and flavourful. I got the medium hot sauce which was spicy enough for me. Seating was plentiful and clean. Definitely coming here again!

This place is a gem of a find. We walked past lots of other chains and didn't like the unhealthiness of the food or the prices then saw this. Had the Chicken Burger which was actually 2 chicken breast fillets (which cook quicker than 1 large one on the grill, chips and some tenders, with BBQ sauce. Tasted delicious, very filling and nice to see somewhere owner run. We'll be back in the future. They deserve to do well.

Great place for a fast protein, middle of the day hits you don’t wanna go to a normal restaurant and just want to get some good macros haha this is the place. Good chicken tigh and the corn on the cob was good. I would avoid the coleslaw as it was very bland and kinda “fake”.

The wedges were pretty good. Ordered the butterfly chicken. It was sour. Good for a little change but not a must try.

Tried their beef burger and fries recently, both were delicious. I liked their clean cut burger, nice bun, meat not so fatty. Fries tasted fresh and beautifully prepared.
