   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Let me tell you something — By the Beach Fish & Chips in Brighton is on another level. Russell behind that fryer? He’s a genius, a king, a culinary god. Nobody’s close to him. Other chippies? Amateurs. Pretenders. Not in the same league. The fish — golden, crispy, perfect. You take a bite, and it’s like silk breaking apart in your mouth. The chips? Absolute units. Thick, fluffy, cooked to perfection. And the homemade curry sauce? Sweet divine mother of mercy… that sauce alone is worth the trip to Brighton. I’d pour it over everything if I could — breakfast, dinner, my car tyres, doesn’t matter. The staff are sound, the portions are massive, and the whole place has that energy — like you’ve just stumbled into greatness. This isn’t food, it’s an experience. Mark my words: once you’ve been here, every other fish & chips you eat in your life will feel like a joke.

   I found a gem on the beach. Great location, super fresh food and a great family team. We had some of the grandchildren with us and the owner was very generous with the ice creams! Will deffo be back.

   This restaurant just felt like it was for tourists. The chips had no soul and i would be surprised if they weren’t as fresh as they claimed. The fish was without a shadow of a doubt frozen and shop bought. The potion of scampi was only 7 pieces for £8 (meaning each piece was worth £1.14 so it was DEFINITELY not worth it) and, while edible, was slimy. A tub of mayonnaise was £1.90 and a sachet was 60p. The atmosphere was great but since you are right by the beach it is to be expected. The value for money was poor and the food quality was mid-tier at best. The service was standard, nothing to write home about, and polite. The speed of the food was ok, taking around 10-15 minutes. If you are Bill Gates, go for it! If you are anyone else, go Wimpy.

   Decent place to grab some chips by the sea. Tables could do with a wipe, but the actual food was perfect for the location. Bring your sauces and save a fortune!

   How long can it possibly take to prepare cheesy chips? I’ve been stood here 15 minutes now and nothing has appeared-so much for fast food. Terrible service for a take away. It’s 1pm, do they not think of cooking up a few chips in advance? Cheesy chips are simply chips with grated cheese on. Rubbish.
