wow!! what fantastic customer service, ordered yesterday, for a home delivery, and the driver forgot to pick up my coffee. l thought nothing much of it, as accidents happen. However this morning i receive a hand delivered letter, apologizing and saying i have credit next time i order. l wasn't expecting anything, but this has totally brightened my day. What a lovely thing to do. Thank you for making us smile. :) Oh and the food excellent too ;)

A group of eight had a booking for a midweek day before new year, The large restaurant was partially empty, and was serviced by one lonely waitress. The food on the whole was at best average, it was clear that many dishes had sat on the pass for some time before being served and were at best tepid. The portion sizes were incredible and in that respect value for money. The vegetables all looked as if they had been cooked and reheated. Although we were not in a rush the service was slow because only one waitress who had to keep running up and down stairs to fetch drinks and food. The downstairs pub was clearly busy and took preference. Not a bad place but with so much good competition in Brighton not a place to revisit.

Walked by yesterday and ordered two coffees. The fella at the till didn't take the right order to start with but we didn't care to question it. The main issue we had with this café was that taste of our drinks, it didn't taste like any coffee we had before, it didn't taste like coffee full stop. We had to simply pour it out and make an instant coffee at home instead. To give them credit, the prices for food at this place are fantastic. I can't review the taste of them as not eaten here, and will never do so either.

Very reasonable food for excellent cheap prices. Decent coffee. Mega breakfast for £5.50 was value for money and the sausage and onion sandwich was very tasty. Really friendly staff. Recommended.
