The new chef there is amazing. I forgot her name but she's got red hair. My son (8years old) and I came in for food and he is very autistic and was concerned about the food we ordered, honestly he rarely will eat outside of our home so I wasn't expecting him to actually eat anything. We ordered a bacon sandwich and a jacket potato. He had the potato. She noticed us sitting down and I guess overheard us discussing the food (he was getting a bit upset) she then came over and said hello and said is there anything she can do to help, he told her he doesn't like how food feels and also he's worried about getting sick and worried someone put something in his food that shouldn't be there (that's his autism, not specific to your café) She talked him through every step of making it, explained how the kitchen is cleaned constantly, listed the ingredients, answered all his questions, told him every ingredient is fresh, she was so kind, polite and patient. She put all the additions on the side in little pots for him so he could build it himself and he actually cleared his plate. Now he's asking me every day if we can go back and see the nice lady. She told us she's only worked there a few weeks but she is a real credit. I never leave reviews but I wanted her to have some recognition for this as we've never experienced customer service like this. Also the food itself was beautiful, we stayed for awhile and every single plate we saw leave the kitchen looked amazing. We will be back very soon - From a very grateful mother

Since we discovered this place, having breakfast here every Saturday turned into a routine. Great food, very tasty, and good prices. Very recommended.

Very nice, great food and lovely warm service from friendly and attentive staff. Quite noisy inside but not too bad. Reminds me of a New York style deli/diner. Really liked it and would definitely return. Outside seating in the sun was at a premium but there were a few free tables inside. Lovely quiet neighborhood too with a few nice shops around the cafe, especially the gift store next door.

Nice food, friendly staff. The children’s water pistols were a good idea to harmlessly keep those pesky aggressive seagulls away from stealing your food. It’s a shame someone managed to find fault with such an environmentally friendly idea. Lovely cafe.

Breakfast wrap is my go too on the way to work and a flat white, lovely gluten free lemon cake and brownie

What a great place. Absolutely the best coffee I've had in a long time, hands down. The cooked breakfast was of superb quality and price, the decor is lovely and the staff were fantastic. Nothing to not like here ! I can thoroughly recommend. What a shame I dont live nearby....

I like Drurys but I know you wouldn't think so from my ratings. On the positive... friendly service at the counter. Nice tasting coffee. Pleasant festive decor. Not so positive... Back room a bit like a waiting room with seats down one side not facing each other. Coffee was luke warm ( though my partners was hot). Cake was tasty but a bit dry. What I was most surprised at was the staff being unhelpful, telling someone to get their own sugar. A little thing I know and though it was said with a smile, I nearly offered to get it myself for the other customer. Its not that there were many customers in at that time.

This is a nice busy but pleasant cafe with a coffee counter selling beans. The decaf cappuccino was pretty good, best decaf I've had. BLT was nice, toasted brown bread, crispy bacon. Friendly efficient staff. Will certainly come again.
