Lovely neighbourhood cafe with excellent food options and lovely drinks, and bafflingly priced samosas!

I absolutely love this local cafe in the park, and it holds a really special place in my heart as I've been coming to these gardens since I was a child! The vibe in the cafe is really lovely, a friendly, warm community. Its spacious too, so unlike some other park cafes, its usually easy to find a table either inside or outside. The staff are lovely and friendly and the range of foods and drinks on the menus is quite vast. I love coming for a brunch and coffee as its only 5 minutes walk from my house. Or sometimes I stop for an icecream if Ive been for a stroll on a warm day. 3 weeks ago we went to their Tapas night on a Friday, which was a lovely atmosphere and they had lots of choice of little tapas dishes to have with our bottle of wine! If you haven't been to St Ann's well gardens yet then its worth a visit, walk around the pond, sensory garden, go and watch/play tennis, the kids playground is tucked at the top end so there's plenty of quiet areas around the rest of the park. All in all, its a wonderful place to visit.... try the home baked cakes too!

Phenomenal! Had a great time here with an astonishing veggie breakfast: Perfect composition, very much enjoyed the mushrooms, the perfectly cooked (and wonderful garlicky) spinach and the excellent seasoned tomatoes. A bargain as well! All in all a wonderful experience with warmhearted and quick staff in an inspiring atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

Haven't been here in years..almost fell over at the prices of the food. £3.80 (!) for a small sausage roll and £5 for a sandwich, come on these are hard times so help your locals out. If you are charging these prices then don't skimp with cheap Aldi tomato and brown sauce - that is a cafe no no! Note to owner. Your plastic chairs legs flex so much that they feel they could collapse. They feel very cheap and IKEA. Make small improvements and make food a little more affordable please.

My previous review gave it poor for coffee but last time I was there it has improved greatly. Could be person making it, could be the coffee...either way it was really good.

The main appeal of the cafe is the location, it’s a great place to hide when it starts to rain or to get ice cream on a sunny day. The coffee is ok. However they don’t have many vegan options at all so need to improve on this!

Pleasant Cafe in a lovely park - that's obviously it's selling point especially on a sunny day - was wonderful sitting outside this morning. Coffee is good and food is decent though portions are perhaps a little on the small side though tbf given the location and cost of living issues the prices are reasonable. Would definitely return though sadly we don't live nearby it's a definite bonus of the area if you do.
