   I love Nero and always go out of my way to go to one but this is always the worst ! The line is always long, the service is always very very slow! The staff are never smiley and the drinks are hit and miss with quality. I like to pride myself on only going out of my way to write good reviews for places but we visit Worthing once a month with our kids and have done for nearly two years and every time they are consistently bad at this particular branch.

   I frequent this Caffè Nero quite regularly and usually everything is fine. Today, 25 September 2025 I was served by the rudest barista I’ve ever encountered. I’m very particular about how I have my decaf Latte. I like it extra extra extra hot and wet. I didn’t get that today as the barista didn’t pre warm the mug with hot water. However, as I was with a friend I drank it. When I returned the tray with the empty mugs to her I commented to her about pre warming the mugs next time and was told to use another barista next time! She is NOT a good ambassador for the brand with her attitude, it stank!!! She could learn a lot from the baristas in Crawley.

   Love coffee although cream and syrup all over the cup - sloppy preparation! Service was quick and friendly, cakes were very nice! Had a chocolate chronut! Really good and not too sweet! Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

   Do not order from this shop online! Members of my family have SEVERE milk allergies and we ordered some OAT milk hot chocolates only to be delivered cows milk. It is lucky I checked them because they will have a court case on their hands if they had been consumed. All food delivered within the order looked like it was thrown together by someone with their eyes closed Ridiculous and dangerous service!

   Lots of space! There's an outdoor area that is partially covered so still can be used in the rain. Some space on the ground floor and much more on the first floor (that is where the picture is from). There are quite a few sofas which is an added bonus. Coffee was lush! Cons: there is only 1 toilet men and one for woman and they are VERY small! I couldn't see a disabled toilet either. COVID: lots of hand sanitizer available and the place looked very clean.
