Went for one to wet the whistle before a hike up Mount Caburn, Harvey’s is excellently served as well as a range of other ales and lager beers. A lovely spot to stand outside and take in the sights and sounds of Lewes whilst having a drink
First time in there last THU for the open decks night and had a really good time. Very friendly people and staff, great service and brilliant atmosphere. Thanks for a great night out.
Our last ( or first) stop from Lewes station into the town. A CAMRA Good Beer Guide corner pub. A one room pub that spills out onto the street. Had another Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter. Four real ales and a real cider.
Perfect spot for a pre-match pint! The atmosphere was excellent and really enjoyed being able to be outside. Was also delighted to find that they served gluten-free beer from Gun Brewery which was a nice surprise.
Great pub with a 'Lewes' vibe. Decent beer and a great White Rioja, if wine's your thing. Offbeat decor and a great place for a drink. It can be busy when Brighton or Lewes are playing.
Great beer, Harvey's and Timothy Taylor's, 'it's a tough choice'. Lovely vibe to the place and it's conveniently placed for a cheeky pint before hopping on the train home.

I love the Lansdown. I miss jumping off a train from Brighton to Hastings to have a cheeky pint before heading home. Great staff , great range off drinks, good prices especially compared to nearby Brighton. A welcoming place and outside tables to enjoy sunny Sussex!
