   Another proper pub. Not propped up with food sales. Been 30 yrs and counting since I had my first pint in here. It relies on giving the locals a warm welcoming place to catch up, or just chill.

   Never been here before, stopped off to see what it was like. Really friendly pub, made very welcome, great beer garden, great choice of drinks, husband and wife team who run it, looked after us very well. Had entertainment on a signer named Tyler what a performance he gave Superb evening would highly recommend anyone to try this bar .

   Favourite pub in the area, one of the few old fashioned boozers. Absolutely fabulous landlady and landlord who are just a pleasant to be round. Have been bringing my football team here for a few years now. The Battle was once renowned as the avoid at all costs pub, but the pair have brought the good vibes back again!
