   Fantastic food and excellent service! We went on a Monday evening and it was fairly quiet — perfect, as one of our party has autism and finds noisy, busy environments difficult. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Salt and Pepper Squid was absolutely delicious, and the ribs were amazing. My friends all enjoyed their meals too, and although some had leftovers, the staff were happy to box them up to take home. Prices are normal for the area and very reasonable. We’ll definitely be going again!

   This is a hidden gem tucked just off the main road. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the chicken Milanese and my sister had the sweet potato curry which went down very well. We had been here previously and enjoyed a mid week lunch and this time the food seemed even better. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back next time we are in the UK, highly recommended if you're in the area.

   Having eaten at The Plough quite a few times in the last couple of years I can say I love how consistent is the food quality and the service. They got a few vegetarian options, I have had pizza a couple of times and the veggie burger last time. Puddings are nice too. Bear in mind, it is slightly on the expensive side with, for example, a burger + a pint coming over £20 but at least you don't get disappointed with the food.

   Although we had quite a wait for our food. We were a party of 22. When the food arrived it was worth the wait. Everyone said it was excellent. Pipping hot, plenty of it and so fresh. Well done to the chef and waitresses. We will be back
