   We met up with some old friends for a Christmas dinner. The food was so good and there was so much of it. I had the vegan dinner which was well cooked and great variety of veg. Everyone loved the food. The service was friendly, helpful and so efficient. We cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be going back. Well done to everyone who works there.

   I booked a table for lunchtime today, a Thursday at 1pm. It was for 6 people for my mums birthday. A lovely lady called me this morning to say the table we had been allocated was very small, so would we be happy to change, great service. I popped in early to put up some balloons and bring a cake in, which was kind of her to allow. The table was lovely, nice big round table. We had a lady called Jan serve us, she was abrupt, never smiled everything seemed a hassle to her. I asked her after our dinner about the cake coming out and she said she will fit it in when she had time !She was constantly clearing odd glaases and plates asking us to pass everything while we were talking. My mum found this extremely rude! We were rushed towards the end as she made it perfectly clear they were shutting at 3pm and wanted us out.!! Our bill was £148.00 as 10% service charge automatically added. This should be paid if your happy with the service and we weren't! The food was average, certainly would not return.

   Absolutely lovely food, I had the TFI burger with blue cheese sauce, served with chips, onion rings, and coleslaw. It was lovely and filling and tasted superb! The staff were really friendly and welcoming too. We went on a Tuesday lunchtime and it was relatively quiet. Great atmosphere in a lovely little English pub. I'm sure we will be back at some point!

   A brilliant independent local countryside pub that still has character, unlike a lot of the bigger brewery chain pubs. Comfortable seating and plenty of space alongside a clean and well maintained interior with the option to sit outside if the weather's good. We came as a table of 5 for dinner, and the service was quick and attentive. The portion sizes generous and value for money were good overall. The burgers and sticky toffee pudding were both brilliant, and there were good words spoken about the Liver and Bacon as well as the Irish coffees, too! Specials boards change regularly, and with drinks, mains, and desserts, we still spent just under £30 per person, including service charge. It's definitely worth checking out and supporting your local

   Had the lamb soup and a pork bun, the flavours are far more subtle than the average high street Chinese. Make sure you ask for some of their chili oil for a bit of spice. I followed this with some sticky rice with dates, again unlike any other chinese food I'd ever eaten. Definitely want to return to try the other items on the menu.

   Well,the prices were reasonable,but staff very slow. 15 mins seated,and no drinks order?? The food arrived pretty promptly but was frankly tasteless. Very mass produced and bland. My steak was not tender,and tasteless There were 5 of us in this family party, no one said they had enjoyed their food....

   I went to The Fox with my family for Sunday lunch and I was pleasantly surprised, the vegetables were lovely, freshly cooked, the nut roast was nice . Other people in our party had the pork, turkey and a burger, all very nice as well according to them. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back again .
