Won the Yeastie Boys Halloween Giveaway competition, on Instagram so went to the Goose to feast on some superb pizza and chicken tenders. Slight delay with kitchen opening, but staff behind the bar were great at keeping us updated on their progress. Food was phenomenal - shoutout to Kahn and Callum in the Yeasties kitchen for getting that order out to us asap! Great service, great food, great pub - highly recommended!

I came here in search of food to cater for my severe nut allergy having not felt confident to eat at another restaurant. The girl behind the bar was brilliant, and Chris the Chef was extremely thorough at checking all the ingredients and ensuring there was no cross-contamination. 10/10 for the service, and I will 100% eat and drink here again when passing through for work. 10/10 for the atmosphere too!

I like this place on the seafront, it’s cosy and offers lovely pizza. However, I came here on Friday 16/05/2025 the woman behind the bar seemed she’d rather be elsewhere, there’s more cheer in a graveyard. Anyway, I have an allergy to alcohol (ethanol) & one thing I notice is that this bar doesn’t offer any alcoholic alternatives such as ‘mocktails’. Other bars in Worthing offer as such. What about people who can’t drink for various reasons, people in a group that are driving others home? People on medication that can’t consume alcohol but want to enjoy the atmosphere food and bar? There seems to be such a lack of choice for those people. I think it’s a letdown/oversight on whoever runs/owns the bar. Coming here once before, other staff members have offered to make an alcohol free version of cocktails, which has been kind. However, this time I didn’t understand how this wasn’t an option when we asked this time round. Or how this isn’t added onto their menu? It’s not difficult to make an alcoholic alternative? The woman yesterday looked like you asked her if they serve bath water giving you this blank stare with ‘no we don’t do that’. She then proceeded to have another conversation with a staff member behind us, whilst we were mid flow talking? Make that make sense. Apart from that, the food was lovely and the prices were reasonable but please consider a wider choice for other customers on a fairly limited drinks menu.

Great atmosphere and service. Was a little disappointed with the buffalo sauce, it seemed watered down compared to previous times I have had Orange Buffalo. Based on this, I would only give 4 stars and say lost boys in brighton is a much better option for wings

There are new owners here and they have changed it all up…It looks great! The Orange Buffalo wings are 10/10 and Matt the chef is lovely and really knows his stuff! Nice selection of beers and chilled vibe. Get yourselves down there!

Great vibe and aesthetic; good beer selection, and the best fried chicken in Worthing.

It's a nice pub, good atmosphere. Would be amazing if they did food, even on weekends as we had to leave to find another pub after one drink as some of us were hungry.

I have been to the Goose a number of times and the staff have been great. Decor is warm and atmosphere is nice with the outside usually comfortably busy. Unfortunately the beer selection is a bit hit or miss and the toilets don’t lock which has been the case for a while now. Saying that, it is an issue which can be fixed and the staff seem committed to what they do. Hoping to see it improve
