Had a difficult time with a dodgy battery and popped into Halfords as I wasn’t sure what I needed or how to do it. The staff member who served me was a guy called Callan and he was absolutely brilliant! He figured out exactly what battery I needed and fitted it really quickly but with great care..he made sure to put proper anti seizing spray before he removed the bolts and then he even wire brushed the old rusty bolt that secures the battery before he fitted it. That is superb service! You can’t pay for that! He also checked and sorted out oil and coolant and all with a smile on his face and kept calm while I barraged him with endless questions! He was so polite and courteous : I never felt under pressure as I usually do when I’m asking questions .. pressure to shut up and leave the shop! He really is a star and I would give him 6 stars if I could! He made a stressful situation into a golden one and I went home happy and relaxed .. and that’s not easy for me! Well done Callan and thanks very much ( Halfords are very lucky to have you ) .. and I hope you all enjoyed reading my review novel!
I came in for a windscreen repair. So quick, easy, and the staff were amazing. Rob did my windscreen repair and it looks really good. Anne serviced me at the tills, she was very friendly, efficient and helpful.
Absolutely brilliant experience. New headlight bulb fitted to my Jaguar XF. Staff could not have been more helpful. Cost probably a quarter of what a dealer would charge. Highly recommended.
Callum in the Rustington store was extremely helpful and thorough. He checked my car over, and did all of the necessary safety checks to ensure it was properly maintained. I am very grateful for his patience, and assistance. I Will most certainly come back, and recommend this service for anyone in the future.
Took my car to get replacement bulbs fitted. Excellent service from start to finish. The lady at the till was friendly and helpful and Emma who fitted the bulbs was really friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. It wasn't an easy job and took a bit of time - my car's fault - but Emma persevered without as much as an expletive and got the job done. Really happy with Rustington Halfords and it's now my go to place for car stuff! Thank you!
Last night- in almost arctic conditions I went to Halfords as two rear light bulbs needed replacing. There was a bit of a wait- but that couldn’t be helped as lots of people in similar predicaments. The staff were really helpful and professional. Full credit to the man who was outside doing such a sterling job in the freezing cold and dark. He was so polite and helpful even though he must’ve been absolutely frozen. He did a great job and service of this standard, these days, is hard to find. Thank you.
I was very impressed by the service received at the Rustington branch. I decided to buy the 'We Fit' upgrade for headlamp bulbs, as it all looked way too fiddly for me. Staff member Emma was available immediately as I entered the store and it was sorted in 10 minutes. Top marks to Emma! They lose a star because I don't think the bulbs are 200% brighter (in fact, I don't think they are any brighter than the bog-standard versions that they replaced) but they are functional.
Bought two headlight bulbs and got them fitted as well. The bulbs on my car take a knack to change so was worth paying for the service. Although they were busy I didn't have to wait long and both replaced without any problem. Credit to the guy doing this, prompt and courteous.
