   What an excellent company .rubber on door needed replacing . Came Saturday all sorted . Brilliant service . Only waited 2 days . The engineer was brilliant did a very professional repair . Very polite and did a great job . Thanks Hughes. Local so much better than buying online . Great service when things need repairing . Oh I would buy from Hughes online as being local you still get the great aftersales service. Merry Xmas to all staff at Hughes

   We needed a new tumble dryer but were confused as technology has moved on since our last purchase 20 years ago. Kerry was so helpful and friendly She spent a lot of time explaining the differences of the different machines. Other shops had not been able to offer information. We are grateful to Kerry who enabled us to make a purchase which we are very happy with. The showroom is light and airy offering a wide selection. The people filling in the forms and making delivery were also very helpful. Our house is not easy but they brought in the machine with a friendly and helpful manner. Highly recommend Hughes

   My wife and I visited the Hughes Electrical store in mid-June 25, shortly after it's opening. We were looking at options for the replacement of our existing washing machine & tumble dryer. We were very impressed with the time taken by the staff member to provide a range of options to meet our needs. Clearly customer focus is a key driver at this store. After a period of consideration, we opted to rent two Bosch machines which were delivered & installed in early August. We were given a delivery install date via phone call & email. Just prior to the delivery date, we received a two hour window for delivery. On the day, two Hughes staff arrived very promptly, and removal of old units and the installation of new, complete within around 20 minutes. The installation team were polite & efficient throughout, matching the service & support we received from the Lowestoft store. We have been Hughes customers for many years, both with rental & purchased products. It is good to see the high level of customer service being maintained. Thank you.

   Currently rent a washer dryer from these people, paid monthly since at least 2019 and went in to see how much they would sell the product to me if was to buy outright and was told £68.55, went in at beginning of last week and oh.... it has tripled in price all the sudden and was told that no price was logged when it should had been when I went in and was told it was 68.55 a month or so ago. Also was told that the price was going to go up when was told the cheaper price. Don't get me wrong... I support the local businesses but when they think they can con a customer by nearly £150 I don't think I will bother anymore.. I had a repair booked to get the draining looked at and the person came over and literally just tipped the water in sink and left.. so also had to fork out for a professional person to fix the issue and it turned out to be a blockage in the pipes from where this company fitted it. (2 flooded kitchens I had!)
