   We’re new to the area and have been enjoying the occasional breakfast here for a few weeks now. It’s a quirky, unassuming village cafe run in a friendly, polite and efficient manner. The food is awesome: hearty, tasty and cooked with care. Great value for money, too, which is the cherry on top. We’ll continue to enjoy our brekkies at The Corner House (followed by a long stroll around the Mere!) and recommend others do, too.

   We visited pentre barn and was recommended here. Food was cooked fresh and the cafe was very cute and cosy. The owners were both very pleasant and the atmosphere was so relaxed. Definitely recommended

   My wife and I have lunched here often and have always been very pleased with our food. I would certainly highly recommend the Ham salad in the Spring and Summer - fantastic quality and value. The baguettes are also extremely good.

   Absolute amazing English breakfast. What a gem in Ellesmere. I always love a full English breakfast when on holiday and definitely rate it 10 out of 10 for the meals they served here. We were a party of 4 adults, one child, and a baby. All of the food was served at the same time and beautifully cooked. I had the Shropshire blend coffee and it was served in a French press. It tasted divine.
