We had the pleasure of using Basically Sound for a recent sound system install at our holiday park in North Norfolk. Tony was excellent and his knowledge really shows, resulting in us having a perfectly working multi-zone system covering the health club, bar, restaurant and public spaces. Today, I visited the fabulous Basically Sound in bucolic Norfolk. Tony is a very knowledgeable and generous host. I auditioned a fabulous Linn system that is capable of running in passive crossover or direct active modes. Even run passively, this system was dynamic, full-bodied, smooth yet incisive, and fairly 3D in terms of its locked-in imaging. A genuine pleasure and a true learning curve regarding purchase options. Fully recommended.
Basically Sound serviced and repaired my 30+ year old Linn Sondek LP12, Linn Lingo and Naim Amps, reinstalled my system, and set me up with a new pair of Neat loudspeakers. Thanks to their excellent level of service and meticulous attention to detail, my music sounds superb again. Highly recommended.

Tony and Graham have been incredibly patient and helpful over the past few weeks as I have rebuilt my system through turntable and cartridge; phono pre-amp; amp; streamer; CD player through to speakers. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and I would highly recommend them to anyone, no matter what their needs are.
Tony has done two great pieces of work for me. One was a repair to a 50 year old Garrard Autochanger "dansette style" player. The second installing a new power unit and 33/45 switch to my original Rega Planar 3. Great service, good communications and very knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed.

I recently had my turntable serviced by these guys, I knew the needle was probably well past its prime and inquired about getting a new cartridge installed. I was advised that they could just replace the stylus for a very considerable saving. I had the work done, with great communication throughout and im pleased to say the deck sounds better than ever. Highly recommended.
