Regular visitor to Sahara on Magdalen Street. Today’s visit was as exceptional as always. My friends and I were served by the lovely Becky who always has a beautiful smile. Food was fabulous, really enjoyed my vegetable tagine and baklava. Latte’s excellent! Made to feel very welcome.

A welcoming haven that sells great food to eat in or takeaway. The pastries are delectable and there’s some choice deli items including black honey, spices and olive oil. All the staff are friendly and polite, particularly the front of house lady who is ever cheery, kind and helpful. Whether alone or with others this is a safe, comfortable place to be

A Memorable Café Experience I can vividly remember nearly 14 years ago when my former American housemate recommended this café as a must-visit spot! He praised the food and atmosphere, mentioning it would always be a positive memory from his time in Norwich. After living in North Africa for two years, I've always intended to try the cuisine, but there always seemed to be something that held me back. This month, I finally made it my goal to visit, and today I chose to have lunch at the café. I ordered one of their signature dishes, Shakshouka - a North African dish made of tomatoes, onions, peppers, spices, and eggs—and I was not disappointed! I definitely plan to return soon to sample more of their wide range of dishes. The restroom was clean and well-kept, which is no surprise given that they have maintained a 5-Star food hygiene rating for years. The staff were attentive, polite, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Now that Anglia Square is closed for major construction, it should be much easier to find parking close to the café!

Lovely food service and atmosphere. Highly recommend it to everyone. Amazing food choices from light to heavier food depends on what you are looking for. They have it. Tasty patisserie cakes. Great service.

Great place to go for coffee, which is extremely good. The staff are really pleasant and it'scalways pretty busy at lunchtime with a healthy mix of people. Nice, buzzy atmosphere. I love it and it's a comfortable place to go on your own

So glad we stopped here when looking for somewhere to eat, the food was so tasty, I recommend the tagine with some Turkish bread. Only downfall is there seemed to be more rice than there was tagine, I had expected the rice to come on the side and the tagine be full of the dish for £10.50 but the portion was very small. Definitely a lunch portion. Would definitely return and try something different! And recommend to others.

Can't believe we have walked past this place for so long without going in. The food is amazing and the coffee is too. Good value with a very friendly atmosphere and service. You can buy their coffee beans and a few item such as olives, olive oil, pickles etc. Will definitely be going here again.
