I absolutely love Stan's Hardware! This family-owned community shop is a true gem. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making every visit a pleasant experience. They have an amazing selection of everything you could possibly need, from firewood to pens to painting supplies. I even bought my axe there! Just been in been using them for over 30 years the lady behind the counter could not be bothered to get up so told me they were shut at lunch time on Saturday I am disabled and she could not be bothered to help so rude and dismissive new owners I will never spend a penny in there again I love now you say I, not disabled could you tell me how you know would you like my medical information absolutely disgusting to put that about me says all you need to know about the new owners they have removed there post but I have a screenshot if anyone wants to see it
I'm very grateful for all the household items and DIY supplies provided locally by a small independent store. Not having to drive to a big hardware store every time I need just a few nails etc is great. Great range of items stocked, staff are always helpful finding just the right thing. They have many items traditionally made too like for example natural bristle & wooden brooms, wooden pecks etc. Very helpful when trying to reduce items we buy made from plastic. On that note, I bought a box of tiny nails the other day and they came packaged in cardboard, just the right size for the content. None of that unnecessary nonsensical plastic packaging. Thank you for a great range of items stocked!

Fantastic little shop for anything DIY & the owners certainly know their business. I can't praise it enough & my builder is now a big fan. In fact he grumbled at me for not telling him about it before! . Open 7 days a week & always a friendly greeting.

Always helpful and pricing not too bad. Got a very, big, block brush for doing the fencing - works like a dream and covers better then the sprayer
Great local store always try to buy from there even if main stores are a bit cheaper. Only once or twice in over 10 years have i not been able to find what I needed. Never ask Andy for a discount though else you might get barred!!
